Although the odds would seem stacked against me, being a grand parent and not a "parent," my fight was for my granddaughters physical safety and mental well-being. The Puskar firm did not let me down, and stood by me even when another lawyer might have walked considering the continual abhorrent behavior(an understatement) of the other party. Attorney Puskar is a wonderful attorney and met every proceeding, hearing, emergency motion, armed with knowledge of the law and a determination to advocate for my granddaughter. He is also incredibly kind and supportive and answered all of my many many multitudes of questions/emails along the way through the numerous twists and turns of the court proceedings. This applies to all the office staff. They were always kind, caring and patient. I was recently, FINALLY, able to legally adopt my now 7 yr old little girl, assisted by Attorney Weaver. I am eternally grateful for their help and support during the entire process. I cannot express that enough.

However, he said I had further options for the case. He charged me more money to represent me. This time he was unprepared to argue my case missing key elements I gave him. He completely ignored my ex's counter suit. In fact, I asked him why he didn't say anything and his exact words were "don't worry about that." Needless to say I lost and the counter suit was awarded. Now this is where it gets good. After the loss, he refused to answer emails, he refused to return phone calls, he had his secretary say he would call me right back. He absolutely refused to discuss the outcome because he knew he f'ed up. I put my trust and A LOT of money in him and he was a waste. Being afraid to discuss his loss was amazing. Do not use him! I can share more information if you want to DM me.

I was in a car accident over two years ago and was recommended to Julian Law firm by my…read moreChiropractor. The young lady ran a stop sign and toTaled my car. Having not been in an accident before and never having the need to involve an attorney, I took the recommendation at face value. In hindsight, I should have done some investigation and proceeded with an actual injury lawyer instead. This was by far the worst experience over the course of two years. I continue to have pain that wasn't severe enough for anyone, and I don't think any charges were perused for her negligence and breaking the law. I received radio silence, so much so that my chiropractor was asking for updates. Brief one line emails from a secretary and direct communication from your attorney are completely separate things. If I'm paying your rate, you work for me and i expect to talk to you, not a secretary. That was absolutely not the case here. After continuing after care at the recommendation from the attorney, that after care was and continues to come out of my pocket and not from my settlement. My settlement was not what it was made out to be by either my chiropractor or my attorney which should also have been a red flag. It wasn't until nearing the end of negotiations did I get a straight answer from my attorney as to what my case was actually worth. It took nearly 2 years and maybe 3 actual meetings with Mr. Julian to only hear how little my case was actually worth, and it took me to the point of anger and frustration to get that information. The icing on the cake so to speak, was the several phone calls made to both my personal cell phone and work desk number (the latter having never been used the entirety of my case) to unsurprisingly get my signature on a check. The more interesting portion was that while i waited in the lobby, the secretaries of the office were talking about the fact my attorney was preparing to leave for yet another vacation, which made the sudden urgency for my signature all too clear. A part of me knows the trip was centered around the amount owed from my settlement and honestly should have waited until after his trip to sign my checks. I cannot in good Conscience recommend this law office to anyone. My case was a quick paycheck for their office and my continued pain and suffering meant and means absolutely nothing to them. I can only move forward and keep this as a learning experience and as a warning to others.
