They have most of the usual shops and eateries that you will find in most malls, but they do have a rather large food court with some unique fast restaurants like Oniguro, dizzy bird, and the Paradise bakery and café. We had a small breakfast there. They have a large Dick's Sporting Goods, Apple store, and a Tesla showroom. The main restaurants were the Cheesecake Factory, Sessions, PF Changs, and Islands. We had a late lunch at Islands. They are also expanding a large outdoor area I believe. This mall is extremely clean, all the stores were open, and it had a very nice modern feel to it. I really enjoyed our stay here and will come back. Parking is easy and the mall was not super crowded, especially for a Saturday.

The women's bathroom by the welcome center is so pretty and looks like a 5 star resort. During the holidays they have a tree lighting ceremony with world's tallest Christmas tree. The important thing to know is that if you come during the holidays or on a weekend, it will be busy. The good thing is, as long as you don't mind parking on the very upper levels and walking a bit, I've always been able to find parking. But if you don't like walking at all, this probably isn't the center for you, and there's a lot of walking if you want to explore everything! What I love about this center is that you have everything from Nordstrom to Target, literally! You can find some very unique restaurants, along with typical chains, so there's something for everyone. We'll occasionally see a movie here as well, but that's another review. What impresses me the most is how well-maintained and clean everything is. Even the elevators in the parking garages are graffiti-free, which is very unusual. Now, not all the locations have maintained their interiors as well, but that's on them and not the Irvine Spectrum. My favorite time to come is still in December. We've always found the night atmosphere to have a lot of great energy. And yes, there are a lot of teens who hang around and have loud fun; they're harmless and add to the energy.

As much as I want to love the Kaleidoscope, I really liked Union Market, and I would return to this spot, just for the adorable small businesses located inside. I found myself in a very quaint place with lots of little shops and restaurants. It was Del Mar Plaza. It doesn't look too big of a space from the outside, but once you walk in it, there's quite a lot of businesses inside. Free parking is available for customers only. Or you may park on the streets. Please read the signs for any parking restrictions. I just took a stroll through and looked. I didn't do any shopping besides getting my cookies and cupcakes as I was short on time. I'll have to return here the next time I'm in the area again.
