The service from start to finish was top tier and they did everything to make us feel welcome during our stay. We arrived around 1pm and we were able to get our room right away. The rooms here are massive. We had a king bed room, and it was more than enough space for two of us. With separate living room and bedroom area it was such an amazing place to rest after each day of exploring. The room feels a little bit on the older side, with the fan making a loud noise that we just got used to. There's not an electronic thermostat so we had to run the fan on max to keep the room cool. We didn't really use any of the amenities or the restaurant on-site because we wanted to explore the city with the 3 days we had here. They are renovating the gym, but they have a partnership with the gym across the street, which is available to use if you need it. Aside from the hotel, I think the location was perfect for us. We were a 20-minute walk in any direction from all the main sights and restaurants we wanted to explore. The hotel itself is quiet and far enough away from high traffic areas, so it was peaceful and serene throughout. Overall, loved our stay and honestly sad to leave because we loved Valencia and wish we had planned to stay more days here. Would definitely recommend this hotel when visiting the area.

The mattress was not great. We were upgraded to a room with a terrace which ended up having a high wall blocking any view... kind of like a prison yard. The breakfast and restaurant were fine, but not exceptional. I should have paid more attention to the previous comments about the considerable distance to the tourist areas/things you'd want to see and experience on a two day visit. Let's just say we got a lot of steps in over the course of two days. All in all, nothing terrible happened, but we had higher expectations for a five star Westin.

When we arrived , we were told there were no rooms available. We were told that check in was 1600. When a manager happened to pass by, she offered rooms at a 40 euro charge. Serve yourself coffee is available at a cost of, the room's coffee is provided on the first day but not after that and there are hidden costs everywhere. The chain is a Marriott knockoff worry any of the dedication to customer service and an avarice that I find sickening. I have spent literally thousands of nights in hotels in over forty countries , this was one of the worst for cheapness and failure to provide any customer service. Never again.

Loved my stay at Barcelo Valencia in the city center of the town of Valencia. I can honestly say…read morethis hotel was one of the more enjoyable I had stayed at in my time in Spain. Easy access to the hotel and not too far from the city center, but the bulk of the positive review comes from their spectacular breakfast buffet! I had my fair share of breakfast buffets in Spain, but this one blew it out of the water. The quality of the food was top notch, they offered a huge variety for all, including allergy visitors (Gluten Free, Soy Free,Vegan, etc). If you stay here do not miss out on their freshly squeezed OJ from the local Valencia oranges, well worth it! Fast forward to the room, very modern, TONS of space, nice view of the city (On the higher levels), decent amount of amenities, but if I had to pick out one negative, it would be the lousy beds. With all of that said, the positives outweigh the negatives easily in this scenario. I guess I should mention the very affordable price point this hotel offers, which I could chalk up to the fact that Valencia is not as popular for tourists compared to the many other tourist populated cities in Spain. That is not to take away from this gorgeous city though, as it is well worth a visit for its breathtaking architecture and many worthwhile attractions. In the end, I could easily recommend this hotel to any looking for a up to date luxury style hotel at a great price point!

Hotel - 3 stars Service - 5 stars…read more Adequate small boutique hotel about 15 minutes driving outside of town center. The rooms were not anything special. We had a suite with a bedroom, living room bathroom. The window in the living room did not open but the one in the bedroom did. No USB outlets so we bought an electrical adapter with 3 USB plugs. They gave us 2 twin beds that were pushed together. The beds were very comfortable and firm. The water pressure was a bit low and the bath tub required you to raise your legs about 2 feet to enter. Not conducive for the elderly or handicapped. The entire suit had 1 trash can and no tissues. Pro Tip: The entrance has about 5 steps up so you need to use the elevator on the right side of the entrance to bring up your luggage. However, you need to enter the lobby and send the elevator down to the street level. Or you can ask the front desk clerk to help you with that. The staff at the front desk and restaurant were magnificent. A big shout out to Maria and Mariam in the lounge. Super friendly and professional. Each glass of wine comes with a tapas and the prices are very reasonable. Breakfast is $15/ person. Nothing special. Typical eggs, small array of hams and cheeses, some parries, bread and espresso/ coffee machines. I would save the $15 and spend it on better food outside the hotel. Overall very good experience. We would stay there again. Happy Traveling!!

Price wasn't bad and they had a cute little pool on the roof. Front desk staff are very nice and spoke English. the location definitely is an extremely central to all stuff in Valencia that you may want to do but walkable or a quick taxi ride to everything.
