Target, Michael's, Dollar Tree & Office Max are the anchor stores. There are outlying plazas around the perimeter that have so many additional stores. Panera Bread, Dollar Tree, AT&T, Xfinity, Mattress Firm, Chick-fil-A, Crumbl Cookie is coming soon- oh dear! I popped in yesterday to Target and Sally's Beauty Supply. I have been in numerous stores in the center at least weekly, sometimes more. I have even run work errands for my boss to various stores here. There is an excellent mix of food and shopping and services. There are many more stores in this plaza than I listed! Pop in to discover something new. Oh- and this plaza has plenty of parking, but the Hodges entrance and exit has this section of double speed bumps/humps that is odd. And the outlying strips have some cut throughs and cutoffs that can make it interesting to navigate- be careful, some people whip through those sections. Especially near Chick-fil-a.

I just hope it doesn't go down anymore than it already has. But it continues to stay pretty busy and it has Publix as the large anchor store here. JSO (Jacksonville Sheriff's Office) has a large sub-station in this shopping center, so thanks to that, I always feel safe here. If it weren't for that fact, I honestly don't know that I'd continue to shop here. Parts of the parking lot have been repaved... others have not. So, depending on where you are in the parking lot, watch out for large potholes! In addition to Publix, DD's Discounts has just opened a new, large store here. You'll also find a Family Dollar, Sally Beauty Supply, Bealls Outlet, GameStop, and Bailey's Gym. There's also quite a few smaller stores here. If you're looking for something to eat, there's China Buffet, Cici's Pizza, and Firehouse Subs (to name a few). In the parking lot, you'll find Checker's and Starbucks in their own buildings. I remember when they built the SBUX here... I honestly didn't think it'd stand a chance, so I'm honestly surprised to see it still standing. You'll still see Dollar Tree and Radio Shack on the large sign for the shopping center; however, Radio Shack is about to go (they have their "going out of business" signs up) and Dollar Tree has moved down the street a few blocks into it's own building.

This shopping center has a little of everything and plenty of possibilities to open more stores! Plenty of parking, and some of the strips are out on the perimeter of the plaza- you can walk or you can hop in the car and drive to you next stop in the shopping center! We did both- Peterbrooke was on the perimeter- so we drove over. But all the other stores were within walking distance and it was a gorgeous evening when we went there. Enjoy shopping!

I shop Publix often and eat at various restaurants here- including Tijuana Flats, Deerwood Diner and Open Sushi. Some business have not survived the Covid-19 closures- we lost Snowgenix (which I loved). On the flip side- we gained Rowe's Grocery on the other side of the center. This is one of the more dangerous parking lots I frequent. One way aisles for parking- there are plenty of times I have been facing someone going the wrong way. I have seen numerous people enter the center on the wrong side of the median at the entrance. I have seen plenty of accidents and hit and runs. My near- misses are pretty high myself. You will see people speed through the parking lot and people who are going so slow you could walk past them. Add pedestrians and cyclists- this is easily a recipe for disaster. This shopping center is bigger than it looks and has several ways in and out- there is an access road for the bus system that runs parallel with Southside. The center is situated between Old Baymeadows and Baymeadows- and you can enter in from either road and numerous points. Even with high risk for vehicle damage- this is still one of my most visited shopping centers. Drive safe and watch out for the other guy...

I am currently still looking for said Vietnamese restaurant as I am beginning this review. It can be a little confusing navigating the strip mall. Hey, I just passed an insurance company. One more service that they were offered. Again, they make good with what they have. I would recommend the shopping mall if you are coming here for a particular business. The parking lot seems relatively safe and well-maintained, there is plenty of parking and there . There are far worse places to go in Jacksonville and beyond

This is a small strip mall off of Wilson Blvd. on the westside of Jax. Wilson Square was unremarkable with a horrible parking lot. Dodging the potholes could have been made into a game. Well, what has happened recently to make it noteworthy and deserving of 4 whole Yelpie stars? A Walmart Neighborhood Market just opened there a couple of weeks ago. Yes, i'm quite excited about that! I've always been more fond of the Neighborhood Markets rather than the large Walmart stores and now I have one close to me. Yay! I know, it's those little things in life. Thanks to Walmart, the entire parking lot has now been repaved and all the lines have been freshly painted. They even redid the curbs, shrubs, etc., so now it's esthetically pleasing. Thank you, Walmart. I'm not sure how long the run-down Dollar General will last now that it has Walmart to compete with literally right next door. We shall see. Oh, and there's also a Metro PCS and a couple of other small stores here which I've never paid attention to. Check out the photo I added which lists all the stores, if you are interested. There is a decent amount of parking and the parking lot seems to be relatively well-maintained. There are not a lot of wheat ale Outlets that you can wander and shop at. I will say that I was intrigued by the ice cream shop, however it was about 9:00 in the morning so it was a bit early for ice cream. All in all, if you have business here, it is a decent place to go to. I would not recommend coming here to do any kind of window shopping.

If I had to pick the anchor store, I would guess it would be the Mega Liquidation Center, though I came in here on a quest for Mexican food and heard about this place called Pepe's Hacienda. In addition to those two businesses, I noticed a pizzeria, a dentist called Economy Dentistry. A University of Florida Pediatric Center, a Quest Diagnostics, a dry cleaners and various other small businesses who call this shopping center home. Oh, there were also a few banks. The parking lot looks well maintained and the shopping plaza was relatively clean. All in all, my visit to this plaza and the Mexican restaurant was a positive one. While I would not recommend coming here to do some shopping, it is not a bad place to head to if you have business in one of the businesses here.
