Semco Outdoor in Belton Mo is the only bulk rock salt supplier in the Belton/Raymore/Grandview area. The early snow season went well as we got into mid to late season, too little, too late. Not dependable. Cant count on them to have the product when it is needed. I learned you can pretty much count on them for not having the product, when needed. I believe they are not ordering in time for contractors needing the product. I couldn't believe it; It seemed as though they allowed for running out in order to raise the price; the price doubled at one point. I was lucky to get a load once because I showed up on site right when their bulk rock salt supplier showed up for delivery - I left the store feeling ripped off. They order their rock salt and run out the same day, over and over again. Now I learn they decided not to order anymore bulk rock salt for the season with more snow storms in the weather forecast. Really! It seems to me that supply and demand is working well for them as long as they keep running out. I found another supplier and I will not buy anything from the Semco Outdoor store in Belton Mo. ever again. read more
