"Ha!! Are you KIDDING me???" That was my reaction to Robert telling me I needed to think about a…read morelife insurance policy six months ago. I'm in my mid-30's, I'm healthy, I eat right, I work out. Plus I have a policy through work that costs me close to nothing. Why on EARTH would I pay money for more??? Well... Robert didn't push me, he just informed me. In fact, it was months later that I actually came to HIM asking for a policy and here's just a few reasons I'm glad I did: 1) Your work policy is only as good as your employment status with the company.. leave, and you're out of luck- you're paying WAY more if the policy actually lets you carry it on your own 2) See that dark mole on your body? Get it checked and have it even potentially come back as cancerous... Now you're out of luck. You're not getting approved for life insurance from anyone - at least not at an even-close to reasonable price 3) Corona-what???? Who would have EVER thought a virus would ravage our world and be so unbiased toward its victims? I lost an aunt in her 40's to this monster. She left two VERY young children behind I'm so grateful that Robert provided me with the facts and resources I needed to make my own decision. He didn't push me or use any slimy sales approach, he simply gave me information. With facing a possible recession where jobs (and benefits) aren't promised and a virus where health isn't guaranteed - I'm so glad I made the right decision and put my trust in Robert and State Farm. Should anything happen to me, my baby girl (1 y/o) will financially be taken care of. Having all of your insurance needs in one place is certainly convenient (and cheaper!) but having them with Robert McDougall and team is a piece of mind. You know you're getting it straight, every time. Thank you State Farm and Robert for helping my family today and tomorrow, whatever that may bring upon us...

This is the most unprofessional and useless insurance agency I have ever had the displeasure of…read moredoing business with. If you call them with ANY questions at all, don't expect an answer because they know just as much as you do. This third party insurance thing is ridiculous, if you have a billing issue they wont take any responsibility because it's the fault of whichever actual insurance company you have. Ie: with zero notice our policy went up 115$ a month and when I called almost in a panic because I did not budget for this major change, all I was told is that "your premium went up, we cant see why but it did and Cincinnati insurance should have mailed out a notice." However, we received nothing via parcel notice nor email. When we finally switched to Statefarm I was told I would get notified of the pro-rated amount for the 8 days out of May that we used Oliver van dyke and was never notified so once again I was unable to budget their ridiculous charges. Just ridiculous, no explanation, no apologies, nothing. I strongly advise you to look elsewhere before even having a single thought about using this horrible company to handle your business.
