Our drains had produced this black oily sludge which Erik explained was the aftermath of years of oil and soap. It was truly a stressful mess. Early that morning, we actually had another plumber who used a traditional drain auger to attempt clearing the drain, but it did not work. Erik used a hydrojet that easily eliminated the black ooze. Afterwards, he used a camera to probe the inner guts of the drain to insure everything was clear. Erik is truly a professional and I will definitely have him back again to maintain these old cast iron drains. On top of that, his pricing is fair and reasonable.
