Security personnel were very professional but also friendly that night. The ushers also were very helpful with directing people to their seats. The man who helped me at concessions on the lower-level was cool too, friendly and made jokes with me and my husband (I bought us beverages only - waters and diet soda). In addition to your concert or show, spend some time looking around Radio City Music Hall and all the design details inside the hall. It's beautiful and a NYC landmark.

The venue lived up to the occasion, with excellent sound (thank you, Mr Dolan), spacious, comfortable seats, and great service. The food selection was surprisingly decent, and there's always a hot pretzel if you just want a snack. My double cocktail came to $34 plus tip, hardly surprising for a major NYC venue these days. Everything felt polished and well run, and the strong security presence made me feel safe. Between the magnificent setting and the unforgettable performance, the evening was worth every penny. If you have the opportunity to experience Radio City Music Hall, take it.

Now, what you see with the tour is dependant on if there's a show running. Since there was a show running when I was there we didn't get to see the hydraulics, backstage area, or get to go on the stage. We did get to meet a Rockette, saw the seamstress room, production area, and a few other spots. Alexander Christopher was our guide and he was a blast, very enthusiastic and energetic. Its a fun time. That said, its probably a little overpriced. But its still a fun experience and I recommend doing it, especially if you're doing the Rockettes show, and like I said if you get the tour right before your show time you won't have to back out and wait in line.
