It doesn't get better than this. Tops it off that she's beautiful inside and out, skillful, and just the absolutely best esthetician that you can find in the area. The studio itself so chic and modern, but most importantly of all, it's CLEAN. That is so important. Clean and sanitize is key here. It always smells amazing inside, not dirty not like anything burning or melting. Love her playlist because it gives you something distracting when you're getting hair ripped off your fragile body parts. You can book appointments online and see her work on her Instagram, or you can take my word for it because she's simply amazing. Hard wax gets everything done and she's so detail oriented. My wax queen, but best of all, she's the TWEEZE QUEEN. She gets all the ingrowns and the hair that breaks off. She teaches you post care and does her best to ensure that she gets all the hair. No rush at all and I never feel pain. The wax is amazing and I see a difference in how the hair grows back. She uses two different types of hard wax on me just because my hair grows differently. She applies great pressure, especially on my sensitive spots. Best of all, she always remembers you from the last session and makes a huge effort to stay consistent. I can't speak highly enough of her. She does amazing work and my Brazilians are always A1. I see her religiously every four weeks and she doesn't even try to up sell you things or make you come sooner. She really does care about her patients. Parking is easy, there's a lot right behind the building and it's easy to find. She knows when you arrive so if the shades are drawn, she's probably with another customer at the moment. But she'll pop her head out and acknowledge that you're there. She takes cash and square- but I always believe if you can cash her out do it. Got to support out go-getters and cheers to entrepreneurs.

The door knobs are somehow both sticky and slimy. Everything has a layer of dust. The products are old looking and covered in dried goo (See photo). She doesn't appear to have a sink or even clean towels. I didn't see any hygienic or cleanliness efforts whatsoever. I noticed all this when... 2. She took, not one, but TWO personal calls during my Brazilian! She held her personal cell phone right over my bits as she took said calls. She didn't wash her hands after either. She then stepped outside to meet her friend leaving me spread eagle and covered in wax! No hand washing after that either. 3. I thought that given all her good reviews here, at least she probably does a really good job. She did not. I got out of there as quickly as I could but when I got home, I saw that she also left not just a few strays, but actual chunks of hair. It's like she did 80% of the job. I was a red, swollen, still hairy mess who was lucky she didn't end up with a staph infection. Summing up the experience perfectly, when the wax was finished, she handed me a stained and visibly dirty piece of fabric that was not even a towel to wipe my oily hands on. I chose instead to run home to a hot, hopefully disinfecting shower. I don't understand how the place has five stars. TLDR: NOPE. NOPE. NOPE. Ew. Nope.

Booked through the website, Paid my deposit and everything and was super excited for the experience. The description is: "Treat your back to a luxurious Back Facial that improves elasticity, hydration, and texture while stimulating collagen production for firmer, more youthful skin. With deep cleansing, exfoliation, and nourishing masks, this rejuvenating treatment revitalizes dry or uneven skin on your back, leaving it smoother and brighter." Got the confirmation text and email and confirmed everything. When I got there, Jenny very kindly informed me that she actually no longer does the back facials, she only does face facials now. I was definitely disappointed, but I had already driven there and had the day off, so I opted for the 10 step Korean facial instead ($199 before tip). She said that she was currently doing an offer for $199 instead of $300+, so I figured why not. This one is 90 minutes instead of 60 minutes. If it's your first time coming, I would recommend getting there 5 mins ish before your appointment so you can park and find the entrance to her room - there's a lot of other businesses here so I did have to take a lap to find the right door in the hallway. Pros: The whole facial experience was actually pretty great - the whole place is clean, easy parking out front. And it's very involved, in a good way. it includes massage to the face, shoulder, neck, arms, as well as all the regular facial stuff like extractions and a mask. She also uses the Plasonic machine (which can feel hot like it's burn/zapping your skin) but you can tell her if it feels too hot and she'll change the settings. She got rid of my blackheads with an ultrasonic skin scrubber and extracted all my whiteheads. There's also red light therapy. The studio is super clean, and Jenny is super sweet and nice, definitely easy to trust the Korean lady. I definitely would not mind coming back for another facial - I left there with my skin feeling super soft, she gave me some skincare tips, and it's a great location if you live in Castro Valley or San Leandro. I would definitely recommend wearing comfortable and thinner pants, because it gets pretty hot in the room with all the treatments. My highest praise would include that the extraction part wasn't as painful as other facials I've had, and the shoulder/neck/arm massage was surprisingly really helpful in relieving some pain I had from work! Cons: - I think it was really hard for me to give a 5, since I feel like I fell for false advertising thinking I was coming for a back facial. Things worked out in the end and I was due for a facial anyway - but I would have done some things differently (like not washed my hair beforehand, since it got a lot oilier after the scalp massage) if I had known I wasn't getting the back facial. Her service is great and I would highly recommend her for facials - and it sounds like her microblading is well appreciated too - but just be aware there are NO back facials here.

I've never felt more relaxed in my life! My vision board for 2026 included more self care, and the first step to taking that was going to a professional to get treated and hear their insight into what I should be doing for my skin. I actually booked this appointment originally for November 2025, but had to reschedule twice because I got really sick both times. I was finally able nail down today's appointment, and the process was super smooth! A deposit is taken upon making the appointment, and the rest is paid after the service. I booked for the Personalized Facial + Manual Lymphatic Drainage (1.5 hours). There is a consultation form that is sent a few days before your appointment so that Nicole can better understand your skin type and routine. I am a combo skin girly with literally only 2 steps to her routine (cleanser and moisturizer, and an occasional toner), but I want to improve my tone and texture. During the facial, Nicole talked me through what she was doing and what products she was using that were tailored to my skin to target my concerns. In the end, she recommended a few products that fit my needs for both my skin and the simple routine that my lifestyle requires. She is incredibly knowledgeable. The massages were also amazing omg, I definitely fell asleep a few times during the facial! It was so relaxing, especially the Manual Lymphatic Drainage at the end of the facial. And Nicole has a super relaxing voice! I am so excited to try out the products she recommended and will definitely be coming back!
