I am a satisfied customer. I have been fixed up by lots of people, and I've explored the dating sites, and SS is a thousand times better and more effective than that. Everyone I talked to there was helpful, but especially Natalie, who was my main contact. Natalie took the time to get to know me, and know specifically what I was looking for, and what I was open to in a relationship. She was great to work with in all respects. In a summary, here was the main value of SS: 1) my matches were pre-screened sufficiently that everyone I met was a high class individual -- I did not have any disastrous dates, 2) all matches were with people that I actually liked and was happy to spend time with, even if a couple did not work out in the long term (probably because I'm picky), 3) they found women that I would never have found by myself and got them introduced to me in a way that was completely painless, 4) they followed up to see how things went, and if it wasn't going to work out, helped me manage the situation and 5) I personally not spend all that much time on this process, as Natalie and her team did so much of the work, which is very helpful if you are busy. I was a client of Selective Search for 12 months. I read the reviews here and thought I would share a fair view. First off, I don't disagree that they have an aggressive sales tactic, but that does not bother me because they have a business to run, and at the end of the day both sides need to make significant efforts to get results. Eileen was assigned to me to find someone in the west coast and she invested her time in who I like, what I want, what she think might work, and provided me 3 great references similar to my situation whom I spoke to all 3. I have worked with Nikki W. from Selective Search on and off for over 2 years. You might think 2 years is a rather long time to still be looking but in their defense I do live in an area sparsely populated with eligible women and I did take time off from the search to pursue a disastrous relationship I "found" on my own. I find the staff to be professional and focused on your wants and needs. You don't go into the dealership shopping for a Cadillac and come out with a used Chevy. That is not how they work. They stick to your guidelines pretty much but don't expect an exact match. The women are high quality but just like anyone anywhere, they are not always forthcoming with all their information and sometimes we all find out things the hard way.
