I will not be going there for my nails again. 1 day after getting them done, I am having to pay to have them fixed. The dip is peeling off. For the price you pay, they shouldn't be doing that especially 24 hours after having them done. The salon as a whole feels very welcoming. It's just a cute little place. The overall vibe was great!!! I would try any other service there.

I pretty much have a fluffy bob that doesn't even reach my shoulders. The guy who did it either is horribly incompetent or decided that I'm middle aged and therefore should have short hair. I explained I need to be able to tie it back for work.... he laughed and said if he cuts ot any shorter i won't be able to put it in a pony. FYI it was a male with long blue hair and fake nails.

Like 3 quarters through the haircut they asked how it looked so I told them I don't want to sound offensive but I'm going to show you a picture of what I'm looking for and at that point it was to far gone to be able to fix so they continued to botch it even more! I ended up going home and shaving my head. Not the end of the world my hair will grow back but I do not recommend going here for a haircut.

Blown Away Salon did hair and makeup for our wedding in August 2013, and I am writing this review…read moreas the bride. If you're looking for a professional, creative and all-around wonderful place to have your hair and make-up done for a special event, you've got it. Kristie, Liz and Sloane were wonderful to be around (so cheerful!) and Kelsey, the owner, runs a very professional shop. There is a contract, and for a small fee they will rent out their salon (so your bridal party can get ready privately) or go somewhere else (they came to our church to do hair and makeup on site). Not only were they early (!) for our day, they did everything efficiently without at all rushing their work. They honored each person's style and did an excellent job- from the Mother-of-the-Bride to the young Flower Girls. I was very impressed with the process, and the end results!
