During a family stay at the marina, unauthorized individuals were somehow allowed access to the property. These individuals not only stole valuable personal belongings directly off our boat, but they also interacted with our children while on the premises. It was a terrifying experience that no family should ever have to go through, especially in what is marketed as a safe, family-friendly environment. We trusted Jensen's because of its long-standing reputation in the community, and we've recommended it to many friends and fellow boaters over the years. That trust has now been completely shattered. Even more disappointing was the way the incident was handled afterward. Despite the seriousness of the situation--including the emotional toll on our children--our claim was unfairly denied, and the resort failed to take any responsibility for what occurred. Guests should feel safe while staying at any resort. Sadly, that was not our experience here. We are now pursuing legal action and will be sharing this story with the broader boating and fishing community to help others make informed decisions about where they choose to stay. We urge ROYAL SHELL PROPERTIES to reevaluate their approach to safety, security, and customer care. Until then, we cannot recommend this marina to anyone.

They cancelled but still charged me a 2.5% cancellation fee. The problem is, it wasn't my fault: they rented me a condo that wasn't available and couldn't provide a proper substitute. Yet they still kept $218 of my money. That's dishonest and reflects very poor business practices. I strongly recommend staying far away from this company.

The home was advertised as four "spacious" bedrooms, when, in fact one was an office with no linens, no closet, no dresser and a sofa sleeper. All office furniture had to be removed for the sofa to unfold, and one teenager had to sleep on a mattress, taken from a bunkbed, and placed on the floor. There was inadequate space for the clothes of two teenaged boys for two weeks. Additionally, one of the rooms...a 350 square foot sitting room off the kitchen, had no electrical wiring and, thus, no electricity. This constituted 15% of the 2100 total square feet of the house. It was unusable at night, and because of two step downs, was dangerous. The owner's family had apparently flushed diapers down the toilet and created plumbing problems. Two toilets wouldn't flush and a tub wouldn't drain. Plumbers had to come to the house four times during our month. Customer service was spotty...Amy provided good service but the owner provided poor service, poor communications and was arrogant.

I paid over 250 dollars for a cleaning fee for a one bedroom condo for two nights, ($184 cleaning fee, $50 damage fee whatever that is, and $25 enhanced cleaning fee) so if the one star review was about taking out the trash or the minimal, normal cleaning that the condo needed after our departure that was more then covered. My family and friends come to Sanibel every year and will not be staying at any properties managed by Dream Vacation Rentals anymore. I do not appreciate the unwarranted review or the lack of communication which seems to be the theme of a lot of the reviews on here. Extremely Poor Property Management Experience - Fort Myers…read more Marshall Reddick did a very poor job managing my property in Fort Myers. I relocated to California for work (RTO) and left the property in August, giving Marshall Reddick full authorization to manage everything--including tenant placement and payment of utility bills. This was by far the most horrifying property management experience I've had, and I own properties managed in other states. Over several months, I was instructed to reduce my rent five separate times due to what they claimed was a "poor market," yet the company changed real estate agents 3-4 times without my consent. Each time, they failed to run the live Facebook marketing campaign they had explicitly promised. Most alarming, I was later informed that power to the property had been shut off for three weeks before Marshall Reddick notified me. I was told this occurred due to a lack of funds, and only after the prolonged outage was I informed of a potential microbial growth issue--a serious risk to the property that should have been addressed immediately. Despite providing a 30-day notice for non-performance, Marshall Reddick ignored the notice entirely and continued to demonstrate a complete lack of accountability, communication, and urgency. This experience showed a complete disregard for: Basic property oversight Timely communication Tenant placement execution Utility management Owner fiduciary responsibility I would strongly caution any property owner--especially those managing remotely--before trusting Marshall Reddick with their investment.
