I hired him in January and he told me the fence would go in when the ground wasn't frozen. I expected mid-late February, HOWEVER, he called and was able to put the fence in early February. I really needed a fence for my dogs, so I was happy. Even though it was cold and snow was expected, he put the fence in. I trusted in this company. In March I realized what had happened. Casey showed up with material that hadn't set up and it was WET. I tried twisting the poles to see if that would help, it didn't. After 2 months I had 8 curled poles and so many loose posts the poles began falling out, so I let Casey know. Casey said he wasn't responsible for nature. I argued that what he was responsible for was using quality material - but he argued that the sun and sprinklers must have caused the posts to curl and he wanted to charge me to replace the damaged poles. Sprinklers?? My sprinklers weren't on till late April And Casey had dug up and ruined all the sprinklers along the fence line on 2 sides of my property because he mis-calculated where they were when he was laying the fence out. He promised to come back and repair them but never did. His excuse was ridiculous- a fence is outside in the sun and weather, so by his account fences need to be protected from the sun and weather??? How?? The fact is - Casey rushed my job to get to another job, he didn't ensure the poles were ready to use and he doesn't guarantee his work. His text messages and emails I'll gladly share with anyone who wants to hire him because you should know before you spend $14 grand on a fence. I was really surprised because I have 2 more acres I need fenced and he lost that potential work. Contractors are really taking advantage of these times of need...that'll be remembered by home owners when things calm down. By the way, if you want a post and pole fence check out Heartland Post and Pole. I am going to use them and their website has their guarantee explained and posted. I wish I would have used them from the get go. Heartland guarantees no curling and bowing. Owyhee doesn't post a guarantee about this, nor do they fix it when it happens. Below are just a few pics, but I have 8 curled poles and so many loose posts that poles are coming out all over. I hope this helps, because I really wanted to use Owyhee for my fence needs, but again, I guess even smaller businesses are taking advantage of these times here. I wanted Casey to make this right, but he didn't. I was really disappointed about that.

Come to find out that all of the photos he showed me were built by other pool contractors that he simply worked for. I learned a valuable lesson as everything he touched was done wrong. Horribly wrong. I have since spoken with other people that hired Jake to work on their pools and it was one horror story after another. I cannot speak to his skills pouring flatwork or kitchen tile but Jake has no business building swimming pools and the last thing we need here in Idaho is another underqualified swimming pool contractor.

And that is where the good experience ended. The day before my appointment they called and said we don't have time to come and repair your blinds we are too busy doing new installs. Gosh I guess I am not lucrative enough for them. Well, note to self (and others) don't use these guys, cannot trust them to do what they committed to do, and they made me waste several days where I could have lined some else up earlier to fix them. All they had to do is respond to my query that they aren't doing repairs now (which would have been more honest and respectful, though they should change their website and advertising to reflect that they only do more lucrative new blind installs).
