From the front office, administration, care givers, cleaning crew, kitchen and activities crew THE MOST CARING AND COMPASSIONATE, I have yet to find someone that is not that way. My father passed just a few days ago and all the out pouring of attention that Mom and the family has received from Meridian staff has been incredible. My has decided not to move out with any of us, we wanted to take her with us, we are all good children to her I promise ; but she decided that she feels so comfortable there that wants to stay. Better compliment than that of a resident having the choice to stay or leave and yet wants to stay can't be found. Thank you Meridian staff from my siblings and I we are eternally grateful to you for the compassion you shown to my dad and the love and attention you continue to give to my mom.

He didn't have to answer my call especially while he was driving but he did. He didn't have to volunteer any extra and tremendously helpful information but he did. He didn't have to spend 26 minutes on the phone with me patiently explaining information but he did! After that call, I felt like I talked to an angel; I felt so blessed! I didn't meet Bob (yet) but I know in my heart, I could trust him with elderly care for my loved ones. A million thanks Bob!

The house and interior seems newly renovated and well maintained. It is aesthetically pleasing with modern colors and decor. The rooms are personalized with each residents personal photos and memorabilia to make it their "home." What makes this place so wonderful is the caring/loving owner, manager and staff. Ruth the owner is very down to earth and has a very hands on approach involving resident care and safety. Most owners of these board and cares don't visit the place and just have someone manage it. Ruth is not so, I see her frequently at the house bringing goodies in for residents, checking in to ensure her staff are ok and any concerns are addressed. I work mostly with Kim (manager), Theresa and Courtney (care staff). Kim is sweet, caring, involved with patient care and safety and always there to support her staff. Despite of crazy days and chaos she encounters, she never brings it to work and always has a smile on her face. She goes above and beyond to ensure her residents are not just clients but family. She truly cares for her residents and that is the heart of this field. Theresa is always so gentle and patient with my little lady there. Courtney is fairly new to the house but she is also very sweet and friendly with the residents. This place has a lot of different activities to keep their residents entertained, minds active and improve quality of life. If you are looking for a place for your loved one and budget allows, I would highly recommend this place.

And television is not the best company. I looked around and found a senior home with an aging population and a youthful spirit. Emerald Court has amazingly wonderful activities. When there's no holiday, they make up their own. The best holiday this year was senior prom. We all were transported to our high school days. We had a King and Queen of the Senior Prom. Besides the singing, swinging bands, we have on a Saturday or Sunday, every week on Thursdays we have Happy Hour. Holidays are another game changer. They dress up each holiday with decorations from ceiling to floor. We have a holiday party with a singing, swinging band, hors d'oeuvres and light drinks. I don't want to forget to tell you about the scheduled activities for every day of the week. When you wake up in the morning, you've got 12 or 13 activities listed on the daily activity board. We have activities from bingo to Wii Bowling Some activities are for active people and some activities are for people who sit in chairs. They don't leave anybody out.. We have two dining rooms and a bistro. . But most of all we have a dedicated staff. This place puts residents first. They take care of you with a smile and a caring heart. They made sure she looked beautiful and felt special for such an important family moment, something we will never forget. The nursing staff under Neha are incredibly caring as well, always checking in on residents and helping those who aren't feeling their best get back out to participate in community activities and events. Their kindness and attentiveness make such a difference. Dan and Mark never hesitate to help, whether it's hanging a new photo or fixing my mom's bed whenever needed. Everyone knows the residents by name and treats them with kindness, patience, and genuine affection. On top of everything else, Bradford is extremely well maintained. Last year the entire exterior was updated, and this year they are installing new carpeting throughout the community. It's clear they continually reinvest back into the property and truly care about creating a beautiful environment for the residents and families. I have worked here for about 3 months now and it has been such a great experience. The Residents and staff have been such sweethearts to me. The level of care and compassion is ideal for our loved ones to reside in. The type of care the residents receive is immaculate, from care providers to dinner. I don't think I have been anywhere else where the staff and management work so well to build a solid foundation for our elderly. There are also LVNS and Med Techs that help the residents thrive as well and overall have had an awesome experience with the wholesome care that has been provided. They also offer palliative care for those needing extra help. Another thing Worth mentioning is that they offer support groups and many activities as the elderly with degenerative diseases progress, their level of care also progresses and it's provided right next door at Villagio. It's no exaggeration that there is truly something for everyone with lots of fun activities, special events, excursions, and many opportunities for residents to interact. There is never a dull moment, and every holiday is celebrated with much fanfare. My quiet, introverted mother has blossomed into a quasi-social butterfly. She can't stop talking about the friendly new people she's met. As a nature lover, she loves her evening walks in the beautifully landscaped grounds. My father enjoys his daily visit to the mailroom and loves chatting with Olga at the front desk who never seems to have a bad day. He's a regular at the gym. He enjoys reading each page of the Weekly Happenings and Monthly Monitor. Both parents love using Morningside's app to review the daily menu before heading down to the restaurant for their meals. The wine offerings are impressive and prices very reasonable! They did notice a slight decline in the food quality/menu options throughout the year, but they said things are starting to improve with the new chef and the switch to a new seafood supplier. The app is easy to navigate and makes entering maintenance/work orders/staff feedback a breeze. Whoever designed the app did a great job because the user-interface is smooth and very intuitive. This is a huge compliment since my parents aren't native English speakers! ;-) A friend from one of their standing dinners is transitioning from independent living to memory care later this month. The group plans to invite him to their weekly dinners as much as possible if/when their meal credits allow. I'm sure Morningside will handle the move with the utmost care and compassion. You can be sure I'll be watching to see how the transition goes and will report back next year. TLDR: If you can figure out a way to make it work, don't hesitate to make the move to Morningside. I'm so happy my parents picked Morningside and wish they hadn't waited so long to make the move!
