The place is beautiful, lots of flowers and greens, plenty of parking, lots of activities and I could go on and on about all the amenities; however, the most important asset this facility has is their staff. From the front office, administration, care givers, cleaning crew, kitchen and activities crew THE MOST CARING AND COMPASSIONATE, I have yet to find someone that is not that way. My father passed just a few days ago and all the out pouring of attention that Mom and the family has received from Meridian staff has been incredible. My has decided not to move out with any of us, we wanted to take her with us, we are all good children to her I promise ; but she decided that she feels so comfortable there that wants to stay. Better compliment than that of a resident having the choice to stay or leave and yet wants to stay can't be found. Thank you Meridian staff from my siblings and I we are eternally grateful to you for the compassion you shown to my dad and the love and attention you continue to give to my mom.

He has placed her in and we as her family do not have any ability to get updates because this guy has completely isolated her from her family and friends. He sent the business card to this place to my mother so my mother wanted to get an update she called the cell phone number and it was the business card of Elizabeth Mullins apparently she is the administrator. When she answered the phone it was very unprofessional. She just answered by saying hello so my mom introduced herself, said that she was the mother of the patient there and it was dead silence then she repeated it and Elizabeth responded with "I know who she is" so my mother was just calling to get an update and that's what she explained and Elizabeth was being very aloof and finally, she says "who gave you my number" at which time I took the phone from my mother and explained who I was and said that my mother is just trying to get an update on her daughter and the lady explained that my sister's boyfriend has power of attorney again we were not asking for medical records or anything simply asking an update on how she's doing how she's feeling and the boyfriend gave us the phone number. I explained it to her and I explained to her that we are having a difficult time trying to get updates for her. I asked her if she could not have any empathy for a mother trying to find out what is going on with her daughter. This lady was being very cold. I told her I would send the screenshots showing that he had sent us her information. I even asked if there was someone else I needed to speak to to get an update and she just kept getting dismissive. When we hung up with her, I sent her the screenshots like I said I would and immediately the boyfriend called. So she called him immediately and he called back. This is so unprofessional and so callous I would not recommend putting your loved ones at this place because she was very unhelpful and had no empathy whatsoever.

My mom has been at Casa Bella through Exclusive Senior Care for one year now. I was referred to…read moreExclusive Senior Care by a friend who is a hospice social worker and who often visited patients at Exclusive Senior Care over the years. She highly recommended these homes and I moved my mom here after stupidly having her in 4 other facilities ( yes, you read that correctly) that neglected her and cost 14,000 a month. Casa Bella is amazing! I haven't had a single issue complaint or concern. I am a former child welfare social worker so I do expect high quality and following of all safety regulations. This place has it all!! Three caregivers for 4-5 residents. The staff are knowledgeable, reliable and loving. The caregivers are stable and rarely leave the facility so my mom has staff that she knows. The owners of these homes are doctors and it shows. The staff are so well trained and I just can't say enough good things about them. The home contracts with an incredible home health nurse practitioner who visits weekly and monitors my mom's health. The caregivers stay on top of any changes in her medical care and notify the nurse and me. This home is half the price of those fancy assisted living and memory care in the communities that put all the elderly in the middle of a big room and leave them there for hours. These caregivers at Casa Bella treat the residents like family. They do activities with them and make sure they are engaging with them all day. My mother's room is absolutely spotless and she also is constantly well groomed. I've visited a few times without notice and it is always the same .. my mom is happy, comfortable and clean. My mom has dementia and no longer can speak so it is so important for me to have reliable care for her. I have been able to be stress free knowing my mom is safe and well cared for by Exclusive Senior Care. I welcome anyone to reach out to me if you want more information. As a family member and former social worker, we need to help others in finding good elder care because our older adults deserve to have safe and good care at the end of their lives. Thank you, Casa Bella, for all you do for my mom.

The care she receives in this home allowed my friend to go back to being a daughter and not a caretaker. They do everything for her from making her favorite meals to ensuring her safety. Her room is beautiful and has a view of the backyard. The room size is perfect for her. She is able to fit a recliner into her room so she can take naps without having to go to bed all of the time. The common areas are safe, nicely decorated and kept spotless. The staff listens to everything she wants/needs and acts accordingly. From the doctor who owns the facility to every employee who works there, you can tell they care about the residents. Getting older and needing help isn't fun but, I hope there is someplace like this when I get to that stage of life.

Finding a place to care for your loved one is hard. And believe me, I felt sorry for whoever was…read moregoing to take on my mom because not only am I in deep in healthcare (previously in acute neuro trauma and now in outpatient/hospital admin), but she is heavily SURROUNDED by people in healthcare ranging from directors, doctors, surgeons, and nurses. On top of that she has family who loves and protects her very deeply. Somethings that stood out about ActivCare to me from the rest that made me choose them over the others: 1. There's only 2 levels instead of 5+ levels. You have to have memory issues if you want to live there so there will be no confusion or issues trying to determine which patients need what as the general needs will be similar. 2. You don't get nickel and dimed. Other places might charge for laundry service, food, incontinence, etc etc. not here. You just might have to pay for medications or the beauty salon or doctors. 3. There's a licensed nurse at all hours of the day and wake staff 24 hours. 4. Appropriate staff are constantly cleaning. 5. They usually have daily exercises. 6. There are outings. 7. There is a set daily schedule. 8. There's a tiny putting green if they choose to putt. 9. There's a tiny garden. 10. We could go take food and eat with her whenever we wanted. 11. All of the above was everything we loved, but the cherry on top was that it was THE BEST COST!! What I was scared of: 1. She wouldn't accept it and start declining. 2. She wouldn't adapt. 3. She wouldn't be nice to them. 4. She wouldn't eat the food. 5. She would be mad at us. 6. They wouldn't care for her like we did at home. What actually happened after she became a resident despite her craziness and Sour Patch Kid personality: 1. She relied on them and they comforted her. 2. She ate the food and almost too much that she got the nickname the Cookiemonster. 3. She adapted (we told her it was a private hospital to get stronger since they had exercises everyday and people to help her walk). 4. They accepted her sour moments and loved her anyway. 5. She felt comforted by them and especially by certain people and they would do her hair and paint her nails. 6. She actually got stronger for a bit and actually started socializing and participating. 7. Of course she fell because thats is inevitable but they cared for her the right way each time (and if you think because she lives in a facility that it shouldn't have happened then I'll tell you right now you're never allowed to hire anyone to care for your loved one or send them somewhere to live because that's impossible). 8. I got to see an Elvis impersonator, whole room karaoke, chair exercises, the biggest puzzles of my life, so many things that will now also be core memories for my son. 9. I became her daughter again instead of the stressed and burnt out default extra caregiver since she lived at my house. 10. They loved and cared for her more than I could have ever imagined. My mom's brain cancer eventually took over and even when it enslaved her to be loud and demanding they still loved and cared for her until she couldn't function. Imagine this mixed with memory and dementia issues. It takes a special soul and personality to work in an environment like this; I can save your life but I admittedly am not that person. All of these people are that person and if God gave me back my mom from heaven then I would choose ActivCare Yorba Linda again to help me care for my mom. The care she received makes it 10 times more worth what was paid for her care which was already a great price. If you're reading this sentence and contemplating, I think you know where your family will be going. Tell them the Cookiemonster sent you.

Rose, the Executive Director, sits right up front and somehow always notices when we walk in--greeting me by name and truly knowing what's happening in the community. Shannon and Kaylee are always out and about chatting with residents, creating such a warm and connected environment. The special events they host bring families together and make the community feel vibrant and welcoming. They also went above and beyond helping my mom get ready for our son's wedding. They made sure she looked beautiful and felt special for such an important family moment, something we will never forget. The nursing staff under Neha are incredibly caring as well, always checking in on residents and helping those who aren't feeling their best get back out to participate in community activities and events. Their kindness and attentiveness make such a difference. Dan and Mark never hesitate to help, whether it's hanging a new photo or fixing my mom's bed whenever needed. Everyone knows the residents by name and treats them with kindness, patience, and genuine affection. On top of everything else, Bradford is extremely well maintained. Last year the entire exterior was updated, and this year they are installing new carpeting throughout the community. It's clear they continually reinvest back into the property and truly care about creating a beautiful environment for the residents and families. That level of personal attention and heart is rare, and my family is incredibly grateful for Ivy Park at Bradford.
