When I first went to OPPT, I could not play my instrument for 5 minutes without pain in my left arm and elbow. My therapist told me this would not be a quick fix, and she was right. However, several months later, I can now play for two hours a day or more without pain or discomfort, so I am more than satisfied with this outcome. I worked mostly with Emily and occasionally with Paul, but really, from what I could see, all the therapists there were experienced and competent. But what impressed me the most (besides the skill of the staff) was what I guess what you would call the ambience of the place. Everyone was so positive and upbeat, people were talking to each other, the atmosphere was so pleasant. i actually looked forward to going there every week.

After doing my research on several local places, I can honestly say picking St. Pete Physical Therapy was the best choice for my son's recovery. From day one, Stacy at the front desk was super helpful and made everything run smoothly. She communicated with the out-of-state office and kept everything organized. I came in because I needed help treating my knee pain that was preventing me from running 8+mi in preparation for my full-distance Ironman. Upon my first consultation, I could tell that some of the staff had athletic backgrounds, which made me feel more comfortable trusting them to help me achieve my ambitious athletic goals.
