I arrived late because of traffic and the receptionist didn't even let me write my condition or anything down she just went to the back and came back ten seconds later and said I'm too late. Then proceeded to tell me to come back. I just wasted time, gas and now my health because they couldn't get me a short version of my needs. I'm very stressed and disappointed because I just wasted time and money and can't get it back because I need to get better in order to work again. This is just poor service and I get they have policies but i'm the one who is screwed here and telling me to come back is just not right. read more

I just completed my workman comp hand therapy with Select Physical Therapy. It was about 7 months of work with them on and off (I did some acupuncture elsewhere) and I have to give a shout out to the ladies working here. Donna and Rachel has been so great to work with. They took care of my right hand as I was diagnosed with mild carpal tunnel. They did all sorts of exercises and anti inflammation treatment on me. I was in a lot of pain in the beginning but time and hard work heal all wounds! Also a shout out to Christine working at the front desk. She was very polite when I first called to inquire about being seen here. Also thank you guys for being accommodating with my schedule and having Saturday hours are so amazing!! I came to Redwood Hand Therapy after dislocating my right elbow. After my very first visit I knew I picked the right place to go. The entire staff is incredibly friendly, making me feel very welcomed. Donna, along with the rest of the OT staff are very knowledgeable in healing even the most extreme ailments of the hand and upper arm. I was 8 weeks post surgery and in a removable splint. My range of motion, close to nonexistent. In just a month, my range was to the point I could do most of my daily tasks. A month later I was back to work with close to full motion. I couldn't have asked for better treatment/care and faster recovery from my injury. My elbow now has full range. Thank you again Redwood Hand Therapy for getting me back to action! read more

After having multiple joint related surgeries (5 over the last12 years) and having been to my share of physical therapists, I always thought I was getting decent therapy. After my previous therapy office, botched the paperwork needed for me to continue my therapy, I found my way to Redwood Hand Therapy. It truly never occurred to me how much the other offices lacked until I came here. The therapists are extremely knowledgeable, attentive and caring. I can honestly say that had I been coming here from the beginning, I would have been able to go back to work a lot sooner. Hopefully I will never need physical therapy again, but if the need arises I will so everything I can to make sure I come here. Without a doubt, the BEST! read more

BUSINESS does not honor OT code of ethics. randomly increases bill by 150% if you don't 'SEEM' to need the discount that they SAY they offer uncovered folks. i was lied to about when a payment was supposedly received. (it was named 'late,' b/c the bill person only works 2 days a week and never answers the phone when she "works" from home.) Owner is great when you are in an urgent state. after that "care" slacks off; you might be told that you can't practice on an exercise or piece of equipment as promised b/c "i am not in the mood b/c i am wearing a skirt" or "i have to rush out to catch a plane." you might be palmed off on students who are NOT watching your form to correct it. you also might get yelled at by not the main person but STILL after you get permission to take a recipe from a magazine: "you know i could make you pay for that"- way too much TMI during sessions about therapist's marriage, weight of family members...also snarky remarks about those who "do not have a pot to piss in," which is cruel if you have just been injured by someone w/out insurance and are struggling.i see the good reviews are all old. currently, the place seems to be in some confusion & lack of communication, and the opposite of compassionate. i had ONE massage portion when the therapist was "Present." too much distracted chatting. being told of practitioner's sense that her husband "holds her back" due to his aging + disability issues whereas she "has a fitness lifestyle" is the opposite of encouraging when you are hurt & afraid. read more

Fantastic loving and caring ladies. I accidentally amputated the end of my left index finger last year. ( something you really don't want to do.) It needed more than just a little pat and kiss so I went to Redwood Hand Therapy for some help. I'm glad I went as not only were they very professional and knowledgeable , they were caring and were concerned not only about me and my future but every else I met during the time I spent there.
