Prior to initiating a plan, they had read all of my surgeon's notes so they could make the best assessment and provide the treatment possible. She is so patient,…read morekind, humorous that any resistance (which we kind of expected from my brother) never surfaced. Every visit is a little different, the exercises suited to the current physical limitations, yet every week the progress is remarkable. Kate makes suggestions for supportive attire, sends us home with illustrations of exercises to do between visits, and always begins and ends the sessions on a encouraging note. She has so many techniques in her repertoire that it just gets better every week. The facility is spotless and modern, the front desk staff friendly and welcoming. If you have the opportunity to use Peltz, you will certainly benefit (especially with Kate!)

You really helped this old lady get back to work and back to walking her dog. Best of luck as you begin your new lives thanks guys. Dr. Jeff was solid, knowledgeable, encouraging, and clearly trusted his team, which speaks well of him. He worked with my schedule to get me in, and that made a real difference in getting back to work. The practice is good at what it does, and the location is very convenient. One pro tip for new patients: make sure the receptionist is at the desk when you arrive, or pay before you start your warmup, otherwise one of the interns (I honestly can't remember his name -1 star) might pull you off the equipment in front of everyone and treat you like a walk-out. Caught me off guard both times, pretty embarrassing/demeaning honestly. Would recommend, just hope the culture stays more Gary and Otis.

I cannot say enough about the exceptional care I received here at Petaluma Post Acute Rehab!! I…read morewould definitely give them 10 stars. The care here is exceptional. Every person I dealt with, from the people who clean the rooms to the CNA's to the Nurses and to the Administration treated me with the utmost respect and were dedicated to my well being and to my recovery from a serious emergency operation to my L2-S1 lumbar spine that came close to causing permanent damage. Their attitudes were always cheerful and they all went out of their way to make my stay comfortable and pain free and always with a smile on their face. They were always there- day or night to help me. My training by the Occupational Therapists really prepared me to be able to transfer to my home and be safe. I live alone, and they helped figure out how to do my laundry, how to cook, and how to shower on my own. Spinal cord surgery has its challenges when healing and they dealt with them exceptionally well. I am not allowed to Bend, Lift (more than 5 lbs( or Twist (BLT) They taught me how to function at home alone without doing any of those. It has been a safe and easy transition thanks to them. The incredible training and support of the Physical Therapy team and especially Caleb was top notch and extremely professional. When I arrived at Petaluma Post Acute Rehab, I could barely walk. I was unsteady and weak. With their extraordinary care and attention I was able to leave walking over 2 miles a day with certainty and safely. I really had to learn to walk again and through their knowledge and support I was able to make progress quickly. The food was also good and healthy. I was able to get snacks between meals and when I started to be more active and walking more I was able to get some extra when I needed it. I was amazed that the food was that good in a hospital like setting. The Nurses were of the very highest quality. They took exceptional care of me. They went out of their way to explain all the medications I was. on and made sure that my pain level was always managed. They were always there for me 24 hours a day with their warm and caring presence. They supported my when I wanted to get off the heavy Narcotics I was on and made that a painless transition. After such a major operation on my spinal cord, I felt very vulnerable and the care I was given totally made me feel so safe and so cared for. The Administrator Haley McLaughlin is one of the most professional and sweetest hard working, caring people I have ever met in the HealthCare field. She is a total professional and her energy and smile and caring lift you up every time you see her! She made sure I had everything I needed and encouraged me all the time! The Head Of Admissions- Nick was equally caring and attentive and even made sure I got home when my ride bailed on me. He is also helping me get a friend transferred there. I am now safely at home, living on my own and healing beautifully. I will never forget my stay there and all the incredible people who took the very best care of me. If you need to go to a facility like this I can tell you that there is absolutely none better! I thank them all with all of my heart!! I have read the negative remarks and would comment that none of that is now occurring and are from several years ago.
