We proceeded to tell the assistant that it was her responsibility to tend to prospective customers, and that we were in no way continue waiting for her to come inside. I picked Physical Therapy Now strictly on both time and geographic convenience since it is located between "the cow field" and home. I also appreciate that even though I was the last appointment at 7PM, they'd wait about 10 minutes for me. The facility is located adjacent to a diagnostic center in a strip mall. The signage showing the physical therapy place could be a little better though. Inside they have a treadmill, low weights and stretching belts to help with the different exercises. The massage tables & chairs ae well spaced out for the Rona limits, and the therapists are masked. As far as the treatments, the little shocks from one of them machines combined with the hot packs definitely help achy and tired muscles, to the point I was able to finish and get back to regular gym exercises before completing the total ordered by my doctor.

Drove all the way to the office to fill out the paperwork on their computer, which saves information typed in with auto-fill on the browser. Got into the room with the chiropractor, only to find out that they dont take my insurance because of some third-party complication they don't want to handle. They wanted to charge me over $200 for the first visit and over $100 for each additional visit. I would give them zero stars if I could for making me feel extorted and wasting the only day I had available to see a chiropractor.

Andrea was a pleasure to talk to and made finding an appointment a breeze, even with short notice when my injury would flare up. My initial evaluation was completed by Angel, who demonstrated exquisite knowledge through his treatment strategies. As my treatment progressed, my pain decreased and daily movements were no longer as daunting/painful. Towards the tail-end of my treatment, I received therapy from Maria, who challenged my mobility and helped me get back in the gym with less pain. She gave me great strategies to use at home, which further helped my healing process. An MRI was performed, and the radiologist's report clearly noted a congenital birth defect called lipomyelomeningocele. Despite this being documented in the report, Fishman and Fanella disregarded that finding and told me I was "fine," that I've had this issue since birth, and attributed my pain solely to disc bulging and herniation. I followed their recommendations, including physical therapy. Over the years, my pain persisted and physical therapy failed to provide AND relief. I tried to manage my pain the best I could with intermittent steroids and naproxen to no avail. The whole process was physically and emotionally debilitating. Finally, In 2025, I returned to their care due to excruciating pain and underwent another MRI. The findings related to tethered cord syndrome (lipomyelomeningocele) remained unchanged. Yet again, instead of further evaluating this congenital condition or referring me to a neurosurgeon, Mr. Fanella continued to recommend more physical therapy and said the defect that the defect that the radiologist noted for a SECOND time had nothing to do with the excruciating pain I was experiencing. He referred me back to PT despite me telling him that it was making my condition worse. After multiple failed attempts at physical therapy, I sought care from another back specialist, Dr. Vecchione. Upon reviewing my MRI, that doctor immediately referred me to a neurosurgeon. In 2026, nearly 5 years after my initial visit with Dr. Fishman, I was formally diagnosed with tethered cord syndrome/spina bifida by a neurosurgeon which is the cause of my extreme , chronic lower back pain that I have endured for over 10 years. Because this office failed to take the time to fully evaluate my MRI findings or investigate the tethered cord noted as far back as 2021, I endured years of misdiagnosis, unmanaged pain, and significant mental health distress. I am now facing the possibility of surgery to untether my spinal cord; something I was explicitly told years ago was "nothing to worry about." If this was not caught when it was, I could have had life changing consequences for something as routine as receiving an epidural during childbirth. My condition has worsened, and I have lost valuable years during which earlier intervention and monitoring could have made a meaningful difference. I strongly encourage patients to stay away from this practice. You will not receive individualized, intentional treatment. Your pain and MRI results will not be taken seriously, and you will likely end up in a PT mill

They massage you and sometimes it is good and sometimes it is not I decided to leave that place after a student told me he needed to use the restrooms but he had been non stop on his phone while massaging me and I think he went to make a phone call. He had given me so heat therapy but it took him so long it started to get cold so I got up and left and nobody asked me anything it is like they don't hear they don't see and they don't know.. When I called 2 days later to say I don't think I want to come back they said OK and that was that. OK have a nice day.
