Stretch 30 minutes then lay on a bag of ice for 30 minutes. If you can't do that at home this is the place for you.

If you want to be treated like a number by disinterested medical staff, this is the place for you. Therapists do not listen to patient, do not offer suggestions to further progress and spend most of their time behind a desk. They even had the nerve to call my primary care doctor to see if there was a psychological reason I was not healing. He also lied regarding my attempts to perform the exercises. Obviously, he knew nothing about the injury I experienced which involved a serious nerve disorder. Too bad he was too lazy to do some research or fully read my chart or listen to me. I have been here for hip therapy and shoulder therapy over the past 4 years. Both times the staff, Konrad and Sherri have been nothing but professional. They take the time to checkout your records and talk with you. They also work closely with your doctor. The provide very gentle care and don't rush you. If you want caring therapists and staff that treat you like family this is the place to go! Koenraad the PT and manager is trained in manual therapy and he really has the healing touch. I've been in several times for my back and neck and in one or two visits with him I'm fixed and back to work doing Dental Hygiene. Cheri the PTA is also amazing. She puts me on heat therapy and electrical stim. she gentle and sweet. I've seen the hand therapist as well and couldn't keep doing my job without this caring and well trained staff! read more

My initial interaction with the Largo facility was not bad. But the therapist did not seem to know what he was doing and ended up making me much worse. The receptionist ended up being really rude. And on top of that, they messed up my paperwork. Going there ended up being really stressful and it actually set my recovery back. My pain level increased greatly and my ability to function decreased greatly while I was there. It is a relief to no longer be going there. read more

I wish I could give a goose egg...one star is too generous. The staff assured me repeatedly I was covered under my insurance plan for most of their therapy sessions. Seven weeks later after being misinformed, I am out-of-pocket over $1,300 and my ailment has not been cured. In sum, Select Physical Therapy offers terrible service and an incompetent staff.
