When you arrive they always greet you with a happy hello. And the back office staff does a great job with billing and insurance questions. I've never experienced any issues with insurance or appointment issues in the 2 years I've been a patient here. They do a great job of keeping things light and fun with their monthly giveaways for patients and voting contests for pumpkin and gingerbread house displays during the holidays. The owners are both active in the community. I've seen them out at local school events and taking photos at local school sporting events. They display their photography skills throughout the business. I've always thought it would be nice to see more of the staff or patients they've treated included in these photos. Ryan is extremely knowledgeable, personable, and professional. He does an extraordinary job of listening to the patient to understand them better. He has compassion and also nudges you when you need that extra support. I appreciate that he starts by educating his patients and establishing the building blocks for treatment.

I had to find a place to get physical therapy after surgery to repair a snapped quad tendon…read more Athletico--Gladstone was the first place I looked at because it is extremely handy for me; after checking the available reviews I didn't look any further. I was put with Corey, and that turned out great (I did see the manager, Eric, for one appointment when Corey wasn't available, and he seemed excellent, too). My surgeon told me after the surgery that I might never regain full range of motion because of some "trimming" of damaged tissues; I told Corey about that at the beginning, and he simply said, "We'll see". We did see; when he was finished with me I had accessed every degree of flex I'd had before. Information and explanation was excellent throughout my time there. Scheduling was easy, and I was given a printout of appointments each time I scheduled. Corey gave me customized recommendations for exercises to do at home during different stages of my recovery, with illustrated printouts plus online access to see videos of the exercises being performed. He kept me informed when he took measurements (ROM or strength) so I could tell how I was doing, and Athletico asked for brief surveys at different stages to ask ME how I felt I was doing, with immediate feedback on my progress and how I compared to "similar" cases. The facility was modern, well-equipped and spotless; there was normally at least one student assisting the therapists, and when they weren't with clients they were cleaning and sterilizing tables and equipment between users. AND HERE'S THE IMPORTANT PART: Corey is both personable and professional. He was always watching to see where I was doing well, and where I wasn't, and how much I could handle, and he would adjust his plan on the fly to keep me moving forward on a highly personalized path to recovery. He asked for my feedback regularly, and was always positive, encouraging and helpful. Corey did NOT call for the most appointments the prescriptions would cover; he saw me with the frequency he thought best for my individual case. And he did not "stretch it out" to keep me in therapy as long as was authorized; he got me better and then talked to me when he thought I was ready to stop therapy. When he was comfortable, and knew I was comfortable, he cut me loose. The entire staff, from office manager/receptionist on, made the experience better than I had expected; many of them were working in or studying physical therapy because of THEIR OWN experience recovering from serious injuries, so they were both sympathetic and empathetic. Most of my experience was with therapist Corey and students Molly and Jackie; all were excellent to the point that I honestly I think I'll miss them a bit (I had limited experience with others there, and thought they were all great). My 5-Star rating of Athletico--Gladstone is firm enough that I intend to post this review on multiple sites, so if you see this again you'll know I meant it.

This was my second surgery on the same shoulder, so it's been a bit more complex-but he's been very patient, knowledgeable and encouraging throughout the process. I feel many aspects of this facility are good. I spent a number of years as a member of a community…read moregroup that visited nursing home / rehab centers every Saturday morning. Compared to many of the other Northland facilities I've visited, Ignite is head and shoulders above the others. I feel many of the reviewers are expecting acute hospital care in a chronic hospital setting. I don't think it's fair to compare apples to oranges. However, that doesn't mean the incidents listed didn't happen. I would thoroughly agree that you have to advocate for yourself - or have someone there to advocate for you. But this is true at most chronic care hospitals. There is a lot to pick on at Ignite, but the positives outweigh the negatives. Yeah, the food could be better - but once you get to know the staff, they "take you under their wing" and make sure you're taken care of. By the middle of my visit, the food was better. Talk with your main dietary server! They like getting to know you! OT & PT was excellent! They genuinely care about their patients and make an effort to get to know you. Langston was my lead PT and I learned we were fraternity brothers! Helen was a saint as well! OT folks did everything they could to make me comfortable with going home to a house full of stairs. Most of my nurses were excellent. The overnight shift was a little gruff. I called one of them out on his/her attitude, and amazingly, he/she (I'm using weird pronouns to protect the individual) warmed up and began treating me as a person rather than a job. The nursing staff also allowed my puppies to visit me! That did as much to speed my healing as anything else. Before long, the staff was asking me when my Labbies were coming back for a visit! The CNA were a mixed bag. Some were great - others were there for a paycheck. But in a thankless, low paying position like this, how much can you really expect? Emptying urinals and changing soiled sheets isn't exactly a glamorous job. However, that isn't an excuse to neglect your duties or have an attitude. The facility - especially compared to others - is beautiful. Very clean and up to date. Beds were comfortable and the rooms were well kept. 50" TVs in every room! We even had a Cinco de Mayo celebration! Social Work - well - this is the rough spot. The team lead needs some customer service training. Don't let her bully you!

His legs were so swollen.legs were never propped. He was Septic. His catheter was disgusting and not changed even after we had asked them to change it ,and one female worker called him "stupid "which we did a report on. We do believe he was neglected, we asked to have him sent to the emergency room. This was on a Wednesday and he passed away Friday morning please people be aware take care of your family in this facility the hospital said he had pneumonia and that very morning the nurse at ignite checked his lungs and said he sounded just fine. Again, I'm not saying my dad was the healthiest person in the world. He wouldn't be there if he was, but I am definitely in shock that he went in there better than he came out now he's gone. I do believe that if we didn't push the fact that he needed to go to the ER, he would have died in there, but instead he died in the hospital these are just some of the pictures of him and we have so many more we are having this looked into

Update: I am back for TMJ treatment. I was expecting to pay $20,000-40,000 for treatment or surgery…read morefor my constant popping and crackling. The new chiropractor is amazing he has been adjusting me monthly since my physical therapy. I had mentioned my jaw issues and he started working his magic. He told me they offered treatment and my pain went from a 8 to a 2 and I'm only a few weeks in. With insurance I'm paying $600 for twelve physical therapy and adjustments, I almost cried what a relief!!!! These people have changed my life. Andy is my physical therapist and his attention to detail has always helped me heal quicker throughout the years I've been working with him. I can't thank them enough for helping me heal. I thought I would have had hip and jaw surgery by now but they are helping me heal my muscles so I can strengthen the joints instead of replacing them. Thank you friends! I first started going here for hip pain. They did the X-rays and found I had a shallow acetebellum on my right hip and that was the cause of my pain and slight lean. They decided for physical therapy and chiropractor adjustments 3x a week for a month or two. It changed my life. They found specific exercises for all my weak muscles and by building them up I no longer had pain from my everyday work. Now I go back every 3-4 weeks for adjustments and I do physical therapy on my own at home now! They helped me so much. My new insurance doesn't cover them but I don't care I'll pay out of pocket for the adjustments I absolutely love the staff and doctors there. They're friendly, professional, and would correct my postures so I get the most out of my exercises to heal quicker. That was really cool, normal physical therapist play on their phone or computer and don't pay attention, but I remember one time Dr Chris corrected my clamshell posture and I had been doing it wrong. He paid attention to all my exercises and corrected my placement and holy cow I felt the burn then! Thanks for giving me a better life, friends.
