They're great if you want try to buy a house and never close on the deal. Our buyer is using these guys and they have missed 5 scheduled closing dates now. We're on Day 102 of this closing nightmare. They keep telling my realtor, "we're almost ready, give us another week." We give them 10 days. Still not done. Another 10 days, still not done. We're now 51 days past our original closing date which was already 51 days after the offer acceptance date. Now they're putting my own house buying contract at risk which is supposed to close in 9 days from today and I still don't have the proceeds in hand for the down payment on the new house. Not only are they costing me money in extra mortgage, taxes, insurance, maintenance, and storage fees... Now I'm possibly also looking at lender fees to get a bridge loan or a 401(k) loan temporarily so I have the funds for the down payment on my house. So, not only are they slow as hell, they are costing me, the seller, money out of my pocket and I'm not even their client. Their communications are terrible. Rarely taking calls or calling my realtor back with any updates, likely because they never have good news for us. read more
