This clinic is pretty basic - much like many of the same in Asia. Hidden away up stairs, there are two massage beds with basic white coverings and simple privacy curtains. Last week went for a massage with a Korean lady called Hana (Hannah) and the massage was so rough and hard she had no idea on how to read a customer. The massage was so hard that I was moving and jumping that she did not even ask if I was ok or if it was too hard so the massage could be adjusted. I complained to the reception and all they could do is appologise. Even the extra service she became tired and complained her arms where getting sore and in the end gave up and said time is up. Then here's the catch, don't pay by card, they slap on a 10% surcharge. I wanted my comlaint to be escalated and all they said was they are sorry and accept the feedback and Jacob the manager would return a call to me. To this day almost a week after no return call. The massage itself was so hard that I ended up with buising for days. Avoid this business, they do not care about customer service, and it appears it's about money more than professionlism.

My shoulders and neck have become as stiff as a board from sitting at my desk for hours every day. However, 30 minutes later I can now actually rotate my head and shoulders again. If you've never experienced a 'real' Chinese remedial massage before, it is very different to the more common Thai massages which are great but seem to do more for one's mental well-being. Chinese massages are more about dealing with core problems and getting your body sorted out like getting the knots out of your neck and back. My massage therapist had hand strength that was phenomenal bringing a new definition of a fine line between pleasure and pain! There are many positives about Healing Hands. Most importantly, the massage was great and effective. Other positives; extremely reasonable prices which become even better after you get back a health fund rebate, easy parking, friendly staff who can communicate in good English. I'm going back again next week for session 2. I read that they also offer a variety of other therapies like cupping and foot reflexology which I'd be interested in trying down the track. If you are looking for a luxurious spa environment, this is not the place for you. Healing Hands is clean, comfortable and minimalistic inside. The location is tucked in a bit so quite easy to miss if passing by. You would come here to get your body sorted out without the bells and whistles and they did this very well for me (so far).
