I have been doing HCG with Selah for about two weeks. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing. The staff have all been very nice and courteous. I have had a good experience so far with the HCG and weight loss. I did HCG before someplace else and Selah spends a lot more time with you educating you about the process, providing suggestions, giving feedback etc. I have meet with Tricia twice and have learned a lot and enjoyed our conversations. I will continue there for my HCG and will consider them next time I need a massage or any other kind of weight loss help. read more

I have been going here for 3years or more. Great atomsphere and cozy place. You don't have to wait a long time for service since I normally go on my lunchbreak for SSS. They are painless. If there was a less than one star I would have chosen it. I went to Selah because of the price of their Botox. I had 42 units injected into my forehead and a month later, you cannot tell that I even HAD it done. I called after talking to a dermatologist ( who said I obviously had a bad batch) to see if they would be willing to make it right. Instead, I was told that I was probably one of the "10%" who become immune to the protein in Botox and that I should try another product. So they expected me to pay another 400 dollars for something else that may or may not work..... That was their solution. I will never go to a place that doesn't stand behind their product. I have had a bad batch before, a few years ago, and the dermatologist gladly redid it for FREE as it wasn't my fault. Since coming to Katy, I've tried to find a place with reasonable prices for Botox and chose Selah Medi Spa. What a mistake. The new dermatologist I found will be who I use from now on- who by the way- would never pull a stunt like this. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. There are too many other places in this area who stand behind their work and product. read more

So disappointed. My friend and I went to get Botox. We usually get it done every 9-12 months on the brow, outer eye and glabella. He had 30 units and I had 20. 3 weeks later we had TONS of movement. We went back and they sold us more. He another 10 and I had another 10. (Keep in mind I have been doing this for 10 years and have NEVER EVER needed more than 25 units to freeze my forehead and lift my brow). 4 weeks later I WE BOTH STILL have movement and I am booking an appointment with another medispa. In my opinion, the nurse who does injections was a slick talking salesman who pushed more botox on us when she simply didn't do it correctly in the first place. I would urge everyone reading this to avoid AT ALL COSTS going to Selah Medspa. Either they are injecting something substandard or the nurse doesn't know what she is doing.....maybe that's why she talks THE WHOLE TIME....to keep the client distracted. This was my first visit. From the moment I entered I was greeted with a soothing, relaxing room and smiling office staff. The whole place was immaculate, not a dust bunny around. It didn't smell like cleaner or a hospital but a calm scent. My wait time was under 5 minutes. The owner came in and introduced herself. Laura the nurse who did my injections was so informative and knowledgeable. It's obvious she was well trained. She was smiling, addressed my concerns and made recommendations for those concerns. She was gentle and helped me through my injections (which I never even felt!) she talked with me and treated me like I was important. 5 hours later, I'm happy with the results and I'm so impressed by the spa and employees! I definitely will be going back, and I highly recommend this place to others. Make sure you ask for Laura for your injections, she is incredible! read more

I found a groupon for Selah Medi Spa for their Super Slim Shots. It was a great price so there wasn't much to lose to try it out. The shots gave me a great deal of energy and I began to inquire about other products. Since returning from overseas I had put on about 15 pounds and couldn't seem to get back to my normal weight so I chose HCG. WOW!!! what a success! I lost almost everything I needed the first month, even with the occasional cheating (although this is strictly not recommended for optimal weight loss) I had such great results that I chose to go for a second month just to solidify my new eating habits. The shots are easy and also seem to add an energy boost and definitely melt the fat. No flabby skin or excess fat hanging around. I am 100% satisfied. I then tried the detox. I figured it couldn't hurt but I didn't really think I would 'feel' the results. I was wrong. I have Bursitis which only flares up on the rare occasion but when it does the pain is excruciating....there is nothing doctors can do, save injecting me with a steroid that sometimes does, but sometimes doesn't give me much relief, . I detoxed and felt at least 65% plus relief. OMG! What a difference that made! I am going for a second detox as I feel the second time may result in complete pain free. Overall I am just very happy with all my experiences at Selah. I love to see the staff who are so very friendly and helpful and enjoy the calming experience of the music and TVs that show aquatic life, like an ocean aquariums throughout the facility. read more

This place is absolutely amazing. The service is exceptional and the facility is immaculate and will organized. I have been going there since November 2014 and each time that I go, the staff has been wonderful and polite. I can not say it loud enough.. Do not go here if you are looking to get Botox! I just moved to the Katy area from Houston I thought I would give them a try. The lady I spoke with on the phone was very nice and informed me she was the nurse there at the spa and would come in on her day off to accommodate my need. I was very impressed and excited to get such great service over the phone and figured the rest would be just as grand! I arrived on time for my appointment and proceeded to wait another 30 minutes to be take back. I was never offered water or even told they were running behind. Once I was in the back the nurse introduced herself. The procedure took about 30 minutes and she used two larger syringes my forehead. I bleed and it hurt so much more then normal. She could not have been more friendly, but honestly I left there afraid. When I proceeded to the check out the girl behind the counter quoted me a price$50.00 higher then agreed upon. She said, it was a "nurses fee". I told her I was never told about the fee and she said "Oh" and charged me anyway. She never said thank you! Nada... I had to ask if that was all and she said oh yeah! Very Very unprofessional and unappreciative. Being in the customer service industry myslef and knowing the detail customers need and deserve made me sick to my stomach. I don't usually write reviews but felt I had had such a terrible experience here that I had too! And by the way It cost me the same amount as going to a plastic surgeon.
