After I shoveled a lot of wood chips, still had part of stump left sticking out of the ground and four very large roots left. I was sitting in the corner of my garage, on a phone call, when suddenly an unknown man walked right INTO my garage, without hesitation, and literally handed me his card and started talking to me while I was literally mid-talking on a call. Want to leave a terrible first impression? I just told you - and he showed- how!!! Pro tip: don't enter INTO a stranger's garage without invitation. It won't be received well. I 100% have a mailbox, even one with a little part under that would have been a perfect place to stick a business card. I also have 2 rugs on my front porch that cards can be tucked under (which most other soliciters do).... which he did not. Bad vibes. And when curiously checking reviews on Yelp to see if anyone else could confirm my only hunches, every single review is 1 star. There's a reason for it. Seibert's Tree Services did our landscaping and left some weeds which are now about 4 ft tall, and instead they pulled out our lavender plants which were to deter the deer and other wildlife around our home. Unfortunately, the deer will not eat the weeds. They are munching on our hostas like they have been starving all spring though. Perhaps because the lavender plants are gone? Nevertheless, I think they need to study which plants are weeds before pulling the expensive plants we purchased last year. Also, they left a lot of mess in the street in front of our house instead of cleaning it up. Overcharged for poor service, poor cleanup, no integrity. Did a very sloppy job trimming trees in our backyard, onlly trimming dead branches back several inches instead of cutting them at the trunk, etc. Then asked (pleaded) to leave some of the trimmings at our curb, claiming to know that the Dublin city chipper service should be able to handle them, and that he would make it right if they didn't. Obviously knew that because they were vines, the chipper service would not be able to process the remaining branches. Answered my first call, and promised he would come back to handle the remaining brush, but then missed the timeline he set, and started ignoring any communication. Ryan from Seibert's Tree Care was hired to clean up the tree damage around our property after the recent storms in Xenia Twp. He cut up most of the damage and claimed he had contacted the county to pick up the branches and leaves. He left the debris in our yard near the road. We paid him in full. After a week my husband spoke to him again. Ryan said if the county did not come out by the week end he would come back and haul the debris away that week. My husband said he would pay him additional money to just get it done. He said he would be back but took our money, has not returned and will not return our calls. He left us with a huge mess and now we have to hire another company to complete the job we paid him to complete. I would not do business with this guy.
