It is rare that we find a cobbler as astute as Seffner's in our community. I popped into this neighborhood gem to request stretching of a lovely metallic pair of sandals. The business owner politely greeted me and upon learning I was new to the area, proceeded to extend a warm welcome. I knew then that I was in good hands. He then examined the sandals, complemented me and graciously suggested that stretching would be ineffective since the sandals were constructed of synthetic materials. We both shared a good laugh and I decided to return them to the seller. I commended him on his honesty and promised him that I would return with new business as needed. I came to this place years ago, but now the man has a Trump sign in his place of business and I will not support it.

I took some boots to him 2x and they still broke when I wore them the 2nd time. He is pretty expensive too and not the nicest.

I had two pairs of dress shoes resooled. He did a fabulous job and I would definitely come back. I removed one star just for customer convenience as I went by on 2 occasions to pick up the shoes and they were unexpectedly closed. He did have a sign on the door explaining but it did lead to some inconvenience. This could be avoided by calling ahead. read more

Dropped off pair of $200 shoes for new soles on 8/8/24. Owner was out for medical reasons and spoke with a women who was filling in. Told it would be 3-4 weeks...no problem. I called in four weeks and the owner said he did not see him and would look for shoes. Called back three times and he still could not find shoes. He said a woman was filling in for him and he was not responsible for the lost shoes. He said he would try to reach out to her. Called 10x from 9/5/24 - 9/19/24 and he would not answer the phone. Dropped by store today (9/25/24) and called his number as I walked in door. He did not pick up phone and asked if that was me calling. He refuses to compromise for the lost shoes and told me to sue him. This is not the kind of merchant you want to do business with at all. Absolute ridiculous treatment toward a customer and I would not recommend taking any shoe repairs to Seffner Shoe Repair. read more

I've been avoiding taking my shoes anywhere for repair due to high prices. I've gotten ridiculous quotes in the past so I've just bought new when needed. Decided to give this place a try and found a very reasonable price and super FAST, friendly service. Plus I got to pet Vince's puppy the whole time we waited. Comfortable, nice heels are hard to find. Thanks to Vince I don't have to hunt for new heels nor spend extra money. I recently bought a pair of boots online (used) and when I got them the heel was worn bad! I search places close to me to see if they could fix them. I stopped here and they were incredibly nice! We used a different cobbler in the past, but became unhappy with the service, so while my wife was away on a trip, I took her Coach purse in to have the strap repaired and reattached. The purse was ready in two days, and it was near impossible to see the repair. We highly recommend this cobbler. read more

My business card from this establishment indicates that I've been going there since October 2002. While I have only had three or four pairs of shoes repaired there I have always found their repairs to be excellent at a reasonable price. This week I had heels replaced on a favorite pair of deck shoes for $18. Another shoe repair north of 60 in Brandon wanted $72 for the same repair. Enough said. read more

Stopped here because I saw the sign on the trip to visiting family, and earlier in the day I had stepped in dog poop while walking my dog at a rest stop. The owner fella charges fair prices for cleaning and conditioning leather boots. If I am in the Seffner/Brandon area again and need shoe services, he is my go to guy. read more

I have been going to this cobbler for over 6 years and love his workmanship! He is very reasonable in his prices and does great work. I have been to other cobblers, before being suggested to him, and spent more money for substandard workmanship. He not only fixed many of my shoes, heels, and boots in the past, but he has also fixed my prized leather jacket - I actually didn't trust anyone else to work on it. He is a third generation cobbler and really knows his stuff. Be prepared, he has served in our military and is a firm believer in American Made footwear. He will most likely comment when you bring in foreign made items and will be brutally honest if he cannot fix them. This may rub some people wrong because they believe the $120 shoes they purchased should be wonderful and not too cheaply made that they can't be fixed. I wouldn't let this stop you from getting your shoes, boots, purse, jacket, or anything made of leather fixed here! I will continue to take my stuff there!
