Their family has run this hotel for several generations and it shows. They know how to treat their guests and the restaurant is outstanding too. It used to be called Taukunen. It now houses a wonderful Wine Cellar where you can have a private wine tasting. There is even a yoga studio and an incredible museum and art gallery. Friends and i discovered that there are tunnels that interconnect all the buildings. This was once one of HItler's residences.

The pillow feels like nothing and the towels are outdated. We also had a very difficult time finding the parking area for the hotel with the front entrance being a courtyard with no street access, you have to find your way to the back entrance.

In addition to this, it is located next to the pedestrian walk, so many stores with good prices in the area, however, they all close at 6:30. Also in the area you will have plenty of options for diner, awesome cuisines. Hotel has wi-fi, it costs 6 euros for 24h, but it is not too good though. I used skype but could not use the camera for example.... What I loved the most was the staff (again!!) and free breakfast. Simple, with everything you need, from yogurt, bread, eggs, to fruits, cereal, juices, etc ... What I hated the most?? Pillows.... they were the worst I have ever seen. I used 2 and in the morning I still felt like I used none....

I was suggested by a Wormser friend to stay at Hotel Kriemhilde for its convenient location in the…read morecity center. The rooms were very clean. The bathroom supplies were of excellent quality. Breakfast was diverse enough and delicious. Normally in Germany you find single rooms come with small beds .. but the beds at this hotel were at least 160cm wide and comfy. The owners were quite nurturing and care to meet guests needs. The rooms were big enough with full privacy :) This hotel is an excellent choice when staying in Worms :) Stayed March 2014
