Absolutely agree with the other yelper this place is rockin.... Had a few too many beverages so after id read a review on google i headed here for thier bacon egg roll. Man that thing could hold passengers and a captain it was a big round roll heaps of tasty bacon with egg and sauce yummmmm...... But the real kicker was 2 fresh crumbed (my preference) fat prawns that popped in my mouth with a zing of lime given. This is fresh as it comes made on the spot seafood. A few reviews said owner was rude well i didnt see it and i just think she looks like the sort of woman who doesnt take crap from idiots. Theyve got whiting barra cod ect do your gut a favour n head there if your close. Btw each prawn is 3 bux a bit exxy but worth it. read more

A great little fish'n'chip joint that the locals use. It's one block back from the beach and is worth seeking out as the prices are a lot less than the price gougers on the Esplanade. It's a simple takeaway where fish & chips cost around $8 - $10 for a large serve. We shared a $15 Fisherman's Pack including fish, chips, a couple of calamari rings, prawn cutlet and a REAL Hervey Bay scallop and tartare sauce. The staff were worried that it wouldn't be enough for two of us. Trust me, there was plenty. The staff are lovely. Very friendly, will tell you how long the wait is, will bring your food out to you if you're waiting outside, have a chat if you're keen. They know all the locals by name.
