It's typically used…read morefor RVs, as it has full hookups (water, sewer, electrical), but you can camp there with a tent like we did. The traffic along the highway can be quite loud at all hours, with trucks jake braking in the middle of the night, so bring ear plugs. There are 3 lockable bathrooms you can access, with a toilet, sink, and coin operated showers. The showers are finicky about accepting loonies, so you need to thump them repeatedly until it works. Unfortunately, the water in the shower was lukewarm at best, and the loonie only gets you about 5 minutes. There's coin operated laundry on site as well, but we didn't use it and so can't speak to its value. The campsites were clean, but the garbage cans hadn't been emptied in a while. As people camping in a tent, NOT AN RV, we're giving this place 2 stars because of the traffic noise and the cold showers. If you own an RV that has soundproof walls and a hot shower, this is the spot for you.

Even during COVID the owners worked hard to ensure every family got at least one half hour time slot to stay apart and stay safe. They have washrooms at the pool house with immaculate toilets and showers. $1 for 5 minutes and you can adjust the temperature so it's hot!!! I see others mention the train which is noticeable but we were in a tent and did not notice it at night and slept just fine. But honestly the owners are truly what makes this place worth coming to. They are sincere and kind and went out of their way to get us little things we forgot like birdies to play badminton and one singular tea bag! With only a half hour drive from South East Edmonton it's a quick little family getaway that does not disappoint! The only downfall is their weekends book fast!! Not surprised

RV, tenting, and they have yurt camping which looks amazing and it's on my list to try. Some sites are more difficult than others to set up a tent. The ground is just too packed down and rocky. And other sites I've been on haven't been an issue. Pit toilets and flush toilets. Day use area has the best cellular network connection. Depending on where your site is there is a high likelihood you won't have any. There is some sandy beachiness in the day use area, but you cannot swim in the lake. My favourite part is that it is a dark sky preserve. It's wonderful at night to watch the sky in the amazing quiet of nature.

Great little campground…read more Lots of tree coverage for privacy. Super friendly host. The showers were open for the 2021 season, but the key was with the host and cohort restricted. We. Brought our own water in the trailer and didn't have a chance to give 'er a go. Some walking trails, but not too many. We did go across the highway for visiting Innisfree. No lake access, it's not for swimming anyway.

The kids love this summer camp. Horse back riding, swimming, hiking, canoeing, petting zoo, tee…read morepees, candy store, biking, etc. They have a lot available for kids of all ages. At the end of the camp, the campers put on a rodeo and display their horse back riding skills they learned. They are excited every year to go and have an amazing time each year.
