This stupid ass company is the worst company to work for; please save your time. And don't work for them; I work with securitas In Orlando, Florida, I worked there for three months, and it has been the worst 3 months of my life. They don't care about anyone but themselves, and none of the people at the office knew how to do their job; I had a supervisor named Ernie Rohrabaugh, but whenever I texted him, he never texted me back, and he never picked up my phone call. They put me at the post they told me that I would be working 5 days a week, and they told me the office would be closed on the holiday, but I could pick shifts if I wanted to, but that was a fucking lied; whenever I call them regarding me picking a shift they never picked up my phone calls let's say the office was closed for 3days I would be out of a job for 3 days, I hope securities run out of business by the treat people. Whenever I asked Ernie Rohrabaugh to put me in a different location, he was more focused on finding my replacement than changing my post, they never transferred me to a new post, but instead, they hired my replacement before they found me a new post for me; they made me train my replacement after I trained my replacement Ernie Rohrabaugh texted me saying that. "We are still working to find you something else, but please do not go back to career source. We will call you again tomorrow to discuss all possible assignments" when I texted him saying that I don't mind staying at career source" instead of texting me back, he created a group chat with the other supervisor saying that. Bedjynie "We can discuss the on the phone tomorrow anytime after 9 am. You requested that we transfer you from Career Source due to the constant closing of the officer. Part of this is finding your replacement. Your replacement is now in place, and we need you not to go back there. We have and will continue to offer you other sites to try and fit your needs. But again, do not return to career source and call the office in the morning. Thank you" They made me stay home I'll find a new post for me. I did one day with work; they didn't care if I had rent to pay, the next day, they called saying they found a new post for me, and I went to the office to pick up my uniform for the new post and the location to my new post, they only trained me for two days the General Manager name Ricardo Acosta called me at 6:33 pm saying that the owner of the new location doesn't like me so he's going to move me to a new post and I was doing my job right but just because the owner doesn't like me I lots the new post, I just find it crazy because I spoke the owner twice and for a reason, she does like me, I never knew basic on like someone can get fired # this company is discriminated against my race they care more about who they have business with then the employee they hired and when they have no employees to do the work how they are going to keeps they are going to run out of business running. Not sure what exactly these people do but I can tell you now that they are horrible drivers. I got caught in a merge lane unexpectedly and he refused to let me over and made a "shooing" motion with his hand. I ended up being able to get over and into the fast lane as he got stuck behind a slow driver. Didn't hesitate mouth "fuck you asshole" as I passed. I Do not recommend Where do I start. Very long story so brace yourself apply for the company get an interview and told to "be on time" I show up with required paper work but I'm waiting in the waiting room for about 30-45 minutes (I guess I have nothing to do) finally gets called into the back and asked to fill out some papers as well as getting asked numerous questions. After talking to a few people I get hired on the spot and told that where im working I am wanted to start ASAP. However, I needed a few Uniform pieces ordered and I am told by Allison ( you will hear more about her later on) that my uniform will be ordered "Immediately". So I leave go home because my background check is being done and will take a few days (that was expected) this was on a Thursday that following Monday I get a call from there office around lunch time that my background check is in and I am needed for orientation the next day so im like cool sounds good and then they say ok be there tomorrow 6:45am sharp Don't be late (WTF) but I need a job so I have to play ball. So I pull up to orientation with my required papers around 6:40 and sitting (again) in there lobby till about 7-705 (these are the people telling me not to be late) finally Allison calls me in the back and asked me to sign a bunch of papers about 15 differnet documents... ok cool now im the type of person that actually reads what I sign so as Im going through everything I see that I am signing papers acknowledging that I received certain documents and pamphlets and etc. at the time all I had were the papers given to sign and nothing else. So I leave those blank and sign what I can. I turn them into Allison and she is checking them and notices the ones I left blank "you left these blank" I explain how I haven't received these documents yet and she pretty much cuts me off "Just sign them we will get to it later" Now I don't want to start trouble on the 1st day so reluctantly I sign them. Then we head to orientation its about 7:45 now and then it ends around 10:30. And this was a paid orientation so we singed a time card from 6:45 to 10:30. Now Allison tells us she has to speak to us 1 by 1 before we can leave (around 4 of us in the room) so im sitting in the room waiting for an hour and 15 minutes (why am I not surprised) finally gets called in... So im with Allison and she is asking me if my work history is correct and grilling about certain dates... Keep in mind guys I just recently graduated college (june 2017) so my work history isn't too long as I didn't work in school so most of my jobs were either summer jobs or side gigs/part time work. So after grilling me trying to get the dates correct from a company I worked for in 2012 I am asked about my references and if there info is correct. Then she starts to call them. Now nothing is wrong with this except the fact that I have already been offered the job and signed the papers for the job and did the orientation and was told by my supervisor that I was wanted to work the very next day but yet im stuck in this office for hours trying to figure out exact dates of a part time job from 2012-2014. And then she is calling my references asking them what were my exact dates and now they have to dig through files to come up with an answer (sounds like a lot right?) and during this process I discover that the piece of my uniform that was supposed to be ordered immediately hasn't even been ordered yet. So now after all of that I have to wait an extra week to start work. So as Allison is Once again reading my documents that I signed earlier she sees that on the ones that I was told to "Just sign we will get to it later" I just put the date but no year. She gets upset and tells me that I can cost the company "A lot of money with that mistake" (You mean how im losing money because you didn't order my uniform?) So finally I am able to go home and an hour or 2 later im getting calls from the office asking me if I have my pay stubs from a part time job I worked in 2014 (the bs continues LOL) of course I don't so im told ok and they hang up. So as I am at home I read the reviews and I see that others are complaining about the company and that my problems were just beginning. So immediately I start filling out applications again and I get a call from a security company later that day to come in for an interview tomorrow. I go in to for the interview hired on the spot and started working that night with a uniform. So I had to return my uniform to Securitas and of course I have to explain to them why I don't want to work there because I guess its there business. Then I am asked by Allision "How would you feel if an employee quit on you after you spent 1700$ to employ?" Yet i see these people hiring new people everyday So i don't really feel bad because obviously they have the money. read more

Make sure this is the company you want to work for. The company is hard to grow within. If you work full time for a year, all you received is one week of paid vacation. They don't offer medical insurance and dental insurance. They do offer 401k programs. If you work at a post and have a problem while on duty it's hard to get a hold of the supervisor or branch manager. And there is a lack of communication here. Needless to say. It's better off working for retail company in loss prevention then working here. read more
