This is a real find and I am thrilled with the plants available. Quite a large selection with very…read morereasonable prices. I found the staff to be enthusiastic and invested in their work. Everyone I spoke with was knowledgeable of their inventory as well as full of excellent suggestions for planting, feeding, and care of the plants on offer. They seemed genuinely committed to assuring that my garden would succeed and thrive. Such a pleasure to find quality plants, great selection, and a staff both knowledgeable and upbeat, anxious to share with their customers. I'll be back to Berea before the end of the month. Definitely worth the short drive from Lexington and a pleasant alternative to big box store garden departments and the large, impersonal nurseries.

Tried to find and work with a local lawn care and garden specialist who could do more than "cut…read moregrass." I became disappointed when s/he failed to deliver on the one year guaranteed for the replacement of garden shrubs selected by him/her to fit not only the ambience of my home but also the soil and temperature in Central KY. I lost 7 large grass plants and another 8 smaller shrub grasses. Finally taking charge of my own garden and lawn needs I headed to the Potting Shed one of Berea's more knowledgeable and customer-oriented garden and lawn product /service vendors. Lukas took charge. He sent me home to take pictures and upon my return we spent $195.00 replacing "last year's" grasses. So, my recommendation: Find a local vendor and service provider with an interest in the long term relationship. Talk about watering needs and take/keep a receipt with a one year plant guarantee and work with them.

Not sure why Yelp is placing my location in San Francisco? I'm in the Berea area…read more. In one word, "ghetto". We made a service/warranty call about our ice maker, and these guys were sent out. They ordered a part, and then returned about a week later (by this time, we had already discovered what the problem actually was...the line was frozen). They installed the new part, and proceeded to lie by telling us that our ice maker would start working again within 24 to 48 hours, which is complete nonsense. Ice makers should immediately fill up with water, and start producing ice once frozen. Lies. And, on top of this, they kept our "old broken" part (which wasn't even broken), so they could probably turn around and sell to someone else.

I called my warranty company about my ice maker not working. The first time they came out, in…read moreNovember, they fixed it and it worked (for about a month). Our ice machine would randomly work and then randomly stop. On May 15, I called our warranty company again and they called this repair company again. Guy came out next day, poked around for about 20 minutes, collected my $75 because it's "not the same thing as it was in November", and said my ice maker needed to be replaced. Said it would take about a week for the part to come in. Oh, and had me sign a waiver saying that if they damaged my fridge or area around my fridge while fixing my fridge they weren't liable?!?! Later that day, I get a phone call from the office manager, I guess, who says he doesn't understand what the guy who came out says and he needs to send out someone else. I had guests coming, so I had to schedule the appointment a week later for the 22nd. Guy comes out, works on the machine for about 40 minutes, runs a bunch of tests and says it's a sensor, goes out to his truck, replaces the sensor, says in about 3 hours we should have ice and never have any problems with this issue again. I got a text from them saying my issue had been resolved. 6 hours later, still no ice (water in the tray is same temperature as the fridge). Next day, I text the repair man and he says I need to unplug it for 5 minutes and then plug it back in. Next day I text him, still not working, but the water is now colder in the tray. "Now I know what's wrong". I started texting him and calling the office back daily. The repairman would answer, the office would not nor would the office return my call. The repairman would tell me he's waiting for word from his boss on what he can do. It's now been 13 days and I called the warranty company (I've been told I have a problem with being 'too nice and patient'). "We received a message stating your problem has been fixed." Yes, they fixed a part on my fridge, but I paid a $75 fee for ice to come out of my fridge. Ice does not come out. They are sending another company out. Both repairmen were nice, friendly, knowledgeable, and very respectful, but I can't get the office to call me back unless I owe them money or it looks like something might cost them money. Don't waste your time. I will request a different company from now on.
