This year, someone picked the lock on the storage unit and stole a 4000.00 bike (that the kid saved up for) and a yeti cooler and then re-secured the lock; there were lots of other misc items in the unit that were left untouched. Even though no one was in sight when these items were brought in, someone knew to target their indoor unit. Either there was a rash of random break-ins or someone was watching, and I'm sincerely hoping it wasn't an employee. We are told there are no security cameras except at the gate. We will be requesting to view the footage. Lesson learned for us, be sure to choose a facility that has more layers of security and don't store items of value.

Arranged to rent a unit initially through the website and found all of the information I needed. Almost immediately after, received a phone call from Thea who was extremely accommodating and helpful. She couldn't have made it any easier (other than packing and moving my daughter's stuff for me!) All paperwork and payments were handled electronically, which is critical during Larimer County's stay-at-home orders. When we found the original unit too small, Thea quickly found a larger unit and we never lost momentum. She is awesome!! The interior units are spotless and well maintained. Will claim to pay you back but never will!!!…read moreTacks on an extra fee every month that pays for insurance on your contents in case they do something that causes the loss of your items stored. First, why are we paying THEIR insurance to cover a minimal amount if THEY ever do something wrong? Second, while this fee is supposedly not charged if you show that you have insurance on the items. But it reinstates itself after a year. Problem is, they don't always cancel the fee on all of the units you have. Then, when confronted, corporate says they will send a refund, but they do NOTHING! AND THE FEE PERSISTS!!! Working with the helpful desk people at the unit, they sometimes can get the fee to stop (sometimes on only some of your units), but their promised credits equivalent to the fees already paid NEVER HAPPEN! I've gone through BBB and this company does not reply so BBB can do nothing. So far, I'm out over $500 in these fees and while everyone has said for many months and again over a year ago that they will refund or credit, they never have!!! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!
