My initial meeting with Mr. Fox was decent, pleasant and cordial enough…read more I told him I found him on Yelp. He showed up on time for the estimate, and gave me a fair price regarding installing a small gate on an existing 3 year old fence. I felt like he communicated well enough with me at the time, and also did some follow up planning and communication via text shortly thereafter. He didn't give me an official written quote for the job during the estimate phase except for a verbal mention/agreement; and then later in a text. On the day of the scheduled job, he showed up a bit late - approx an hour. I was a bit concerned and was really hoping he would show up, so I texted him to make sure he was still coming. My concern also stemmed from a previous text I sent him approx. the day before, and not receiving a response from him. I thought that was odd. My unsettled feeling on the whole situation stems from the numerous and incredibly unbelievable poor encounters I've had with various contractors overall in the past. I have been seriously and sadly conditioned to expect the worst now. It's really quite disconcerting and unfortunate. He texted me back and said he was on his way and showed up shortly thereafter. He had an associate/helper with him. When he arrived he looked and acted flustered and highly irritated. It quickly became clear that he wasn't interested in engaging with me, and it was very confusing, awkward and off-putting. It was like he was a totally different person. He was short with me and acted like he couldn't be bothered. I didn't understand the problem, and I didn't really say anything more to him after I briefly tried to confirm the job he would be doing. I even tried engaging with his helper, but he wasn't interested in being cordial either. He pretty much acted like he didn't seem to know what was going on. Honestly,.... I was very close to telling both of them to forget about doing the job because I was feeling super uncomfortable about the whole negative vibe and atmosphere. But,... I really wanted/needed a gate, so I tried to let it go. I promptly left them alone to do the job. The job didn't seem to take long at all. The gate looks adequate and functional enough; and so I basically got what I paid for. I paid him promptly after the job was completed and I asked for a receipt, but he didn't have one. I asked that he send one to me, and I eventually received it some days later. Regrettably, I would have to say that I wouldn't recommend his services because of the overall irregular experience.

The on-site supervisor immediately showed me the problem and the company owner, Tammy, also came to look at the additional problem. We authorized the additional work immediately and the crew began repairs ad the additional materials were delivered. What should have taken one day actually lasted three days. But all repairs were fully completed, upgraded to current standards. All the work was done efficiently and professionally, as was the cleanup and removal of all materials. The work crews were excellent, the on-site supervisor was always present and the company owner also came by several times to check on the repairs. This company is probably the BEST roofing company I have ever had the pleasure to work with, from start to finish. The company owner, Tammy, did a complete roof check before I called my insurance company, took before, during, and after photos, and her estimates were exact and approved by my insurance company. Her attention to detail, as well as her knowledge of the addition problems discovered, and solutions to those problems, were spot on, and also approved by the insurance company. She is extremely responsive to all concerns and is prompt on solutions and getting the job accomplished. The on-site supervisor was highly knowledgeable and professional through every step of the repairs, and constantly updated through each step during the three days of repairs. The work crews were also highly efficient and professional, and very detailed in how they approached and accomplished the repairs. Also of special note, everyone involved in this project was extremely friendly, and easy to work with. It was evident that they all took great pride in their work. I could not have asked for a better group of people to work with on what turned out to be and extensive repair of our roof. We highly recommend USA Roofing and Exteriors to anyone needing roofing repairs. The professionalism, efficiency, and honesty from the owner Tammy, as well as those working for her company, is the best we have ever experienced. We are so glad to have had USA Roofing do the work on our home.
