The only issue I had was the price, I thought it was a bit pricier than other coffee shops or places where you can grab lunch quickly. Despite that, I can understand since it's a local coffee shop and everything they have is high quality and fresh. Their iced coffee is more of an iced cappuccino with crushed ice... So if you want something liquid like coffee with ice, I would recommend getting an iced latte. It was delicious, and they had a lot of options for people like me who are lactose intolerant (almond milk, soy milk, lactose-free, coco milk, oat milk, etc.) The staff is extremely nice. They're very knowledgeable and incredibly helpful. The first time I went there, the girl explained everything to me and how the café started and she looked very passionate which showed me that she liked her job. The only issue I'd have with this place is their opening hours. During the winter, if you're planning on late-night studying there, it doesn't open as late as other coffee places, but that's to be expected with local coffee shops like this one.

I said, hey wanna try there for lunch? And we made a quick change of lanes and headed over. Inside it is set up as a little market with a cafe to the side. There are counters for fresh bread, pastries, cakes, meats, and prepared foods. There are prepared sandwiches and salads in the cases in the middle. You can order hot food and coffee or tea at the cafe counter. There is a small space for dining inside and a larger, covered patio outside. The food was fantastic and reasonably priced. In fact, I wish there were something like this near me. I'd be there all the time grabbing lunch or loaves of bread for the house or desserts!

You would need to pay for access to the park in order to visit the tea room but it is absolutely worth it! Being a huge fan of teas and sweet treats, the cafe was a great motivation to get me to do a 2hr hike. Seeing the perfect picturesque building with its snow-capped roof from afar, it truly was like the light at the end of the tunnel! It was such a treat to walk into the inviting dimly-lit rustic barn-style tea room which was buzzing with people. Inside there is plenty of seating; my favourite being the cozy and peaceful large fireplace area. There are plenty of drinks and treats to choose from, from a variety of loose leaf teas to coffees and gourmet hot chocolate (which seemed the most popular). The barista was super friendly and let me whiff a few of the chai teas - they definitely have a great selection. I had a spicy chai which hit the spot and warmed me up after hiking in the cold. All their pastries come from Pains & Saveurs (which is THE best on the South Shore) and they even have a tempting selection of biscotti and macarons. If you want to avoid the long walk from the main entrance, the tea house can be accessed via the back entrance to the park. Highly recommend if you are in the area!
