I'm so glad we stumbled upon this spot on our way to Quebec City. It was that moment in the road trip when you suddenly realize you're famished and the driver suddenly gets angry cause of a drop in sugar or something when I looked up and saw the bakery across the street. I said, hey wanna try there for lunch? And we made a quick change of lanes and headed over.
Inside it is set up as a little market with a cafe to the side. There are counters for fresh bread, pastries, cakes, meats, and prepared foods. There are prepared sandwiches and salads in the cases in the middle. You can order hot food and coffee or tea at the cafe counter. There is a small space for dining inside and a larger, covered patio outside.
The food was fantastic and reasonably priced. In fact, I wish there were something like this near me. I'd be there all the time grabbing lunch or loaves of bread for the house or desserts! read more
