If you are just starting to get into Classical Music, this is the place to go. If you know music, you will be impressed with the range of Classical Music, from Baroque to Modern. Professional Musicians play exceptional concerts here. Most concerts are free and open to the public. The staff is very welcoming. I have seen several String concerts here, and they would rate as A plus! I also saw an Opera here a few years ago, and still believe it was the best Opera and the best Tenor I ever heard. The pastor is very articulate, deliberate, non judgmental and on point. Great worship music. Very welcoming from the first encounter. Two Sunday services at 9am and 10:30am. Small groups, like women's, men's, young professionals, high and middle schoolers, international, national and local mission work seem to be of high value and import. Child care is over the top!

I am proud to be a Clevelander from the rust belt. St. Michael represents Cleveland. It was built for European immigrants in the 1890s, turned black from the factories, and over 100 years latter is going STRONG for a new generation of immigrants from Spanish speaking countries. At the same time, the community at this church is more open and accessible than some. In many ways, this church is an opposite of the more common type of church in which the services are dumbed-down to be more accessible to newcomers, but the communities are more closed to outsiders. In many ways this church is typical of a church but there are a number of things that are just a tad better here than elsewhere. Episcopal churches tend to have awful singing (i.e. the hymns are good, but Episcopals can't sing), but in this church the singing is average, which means it is unusually good for an Episcopal church. I like it. The service, spiritual-content, and politics? All decent. The Pastor is a cool guy. As an added bonus, there are actually a small handful of people in the 18-35 age range, the group that seems all too absent from most churches. I found the congregation to be fairly welcoming and willing to talk to newcomers. Not only was I actually approached by the pastor and several others at the coffee hour, but people actually took the time to talk to me, and introduce me to people. It made a very good impression. Perhaps the best thing about this church is that there is less wrong with it than there is with most churches. The people here are a little bit less superficial, the service is a little less boring and a little more relevant to your life. From our first visit, people went out of their way to welcome us and make us feel comfortable. One of the things we were specifically looking for was a Children's Church option for our child, which they have. We also really love the Bell Choir. We became members this year and have really enjoyed getting to know Pastor Shelley and the congregation. I attended Grace Church for an all-day Women's Christian retreat in early October 2024…read more I've visited Grace Church in Middleburg Heights many times in the past but I had never been to their Olmsted Falls campus neither did I know that they had another church campus until recently. The retreat at their Olmsted Falls campus was awesome. It was a God-filled time of listening to speakers, worshipping God through praise & worship music, having quiet tike to read and reflect (while writing our thoughts to questions in the booklet provided), and speaking/connecting with other women in breakout sessions. I really enjoyed one of the breakout sessions that we did which was a creative activity (painting). The catered lunch (sandwiches) was delicious and the mid-day snack of popcorn and candy was yummy. The continental breakfast was tasty - it consisted of muffins, tea/coffee, and fruits (different fruits in a cup such as grapes, cantaloupe, and strawberries). Daughters and Women out there, you are loved. And valued.
