Her prices are fair and her turn around time was fast and she is super friendly. I had given her a very broad idea of what I wanted in my new logo and she was able to come up with something I loved that reflected the new focus of my business. 100% recommend for all your design needs!

Shayla is wonderful to work with, both because of her design acumen and her ability to work with people with very different (and competing) perspectives. She has my absolutely highest endorsement! At the outset, she produced concepts that were distinct and original (10 in our last project!), and tweaked them effectively based on feedback she received from our committee. Each time, she came with multiple iterations of each design so we could see how it might look on various platforms. Shayla explained her thought process thoroughly, but in a way that was digestible for non-designers (like me). Even though I'm positive she was "watering down" her language to ensure someone like me understood her, she never made me feel silly or "less than," which I appreciated. In both projects, there are multiple designs we could have chosen and been thrilled with. With Shayla, it was never "what's the one design that's good or right for us," but instead, "each of these designs are awesome - what direction do we want to go in?" That was what we wanted for our organization and the visual possibilities also led to productive conversations about who we are and where we're going. In our first project, we had a ton of voices weighing in (15+ people) and Shayla was gracious and responsive to every person's input. I was wowed by how in subsequent iterations, she referenced specific feedback from most of the people who provided it. I couldn't remember most of the feedback myself! Lastly, Shayla is funny, thoughtful, warm, and friendly. She was really a pleasure to work with. I anticipate we will return to her in a few years when it's time for the next iteration of our logos. Great customer service. Helpful and honest advice. Friendly folks who were perfectly willing to…read moretalk options or make recommendations. For what I got, very reasonable pricing. A little over a week ago, my cat decided to water test my laptop. Long story short, a glass of water spilled into (!) my laptop. The laptop sat immersed in this pool of water for nearly 20 hours. Everything was complete toast. Although most of my files are in the cloud, especially the most important ones, I decided there might be the occasional file or folder that I might not notice tomorrow or even a year from now. I decided it would be best to retrieve the contents of the drive on the laptop for peace of mind. I left the laptop with them to do an assessment first. That assessment was ~$80. After their assessment, they indicated that the contents of the drive were retrievable and gave me an estimate of $400 to retrieve the contents of the drive (the $80 would apply to that figure). I decided it was worth the cost, if for nothing more than that elusive peace of mind. I also needed a drive to put the contents on (or provide my own). Since I didn't have one, and didn't want to bother with purchasing a 3rd party drive, they charged me $140 for a Toshiba Portable Storage device. So, for about $600 (w/ tax) I got everything off the lost drive. Was it worth it? Without a doubt. Would I go back? Hell yeah.

And then you left it there and they fixed it. Now, it's obvious they don't want the local, neighborhood individual with a problem. They make it next to impossible to connect with anyone from just trying to find them on Roosevelt to no one answering the phone when you call them repeatedly just to make an appointment. They couldn't say more clearly, "We don't want you!" Stay away from them, they're not for you.

I'm an artist and hoped to frequent this print-shop regularly. The process is simple and…read moreuncomplicated when your printing is done with specific-employees. However, the owner's wife is not fluent in English or Eng not being her first language. Simple requests are misunderstood; as she went ahead and proceeded with printing more copies or item I didn't ask for, the interaction with the owner's wife is domineering and emotionally-fueled. I felt like I didn't have a choice as a customer. I asked for 1 print of 1 picture only to be told that I requested for multiple. Communication is overly-complicated and long when asked simple question such as "exact cost per print this size?" "Just one" "I'll be right back" (as I had to email and look thru files). I don't mind paying for $5 or more. Go for the millennial's employees for help for an uncomplicated, smooth, say-less experience. And to avoid confusion and unnecessary conflict due to mistranslation (English not being owner and owner's wife language). I will have to look for a new-print shop for a chill, non-emotional, logical, simple shopping experience; or show up and seek specific employees for help while avoiding owner's wife.
