I saw a Harley they had online for sale so I stoped by to take a look. They were very informative on the model I was looking at. I gave a deposit after a very fair price on a super clean bike. I ask if they could have the bike ready for next day for pick up, It was. Plus they gave it a full service for me. Customer Service is not a priority at Seaside Powersports. $356.20 to put a rear tire on my Street Glide and they failed to bolt my left exhaust pipe back to the frame. Called them as soon as I got home and was initially told to ride back to the shop, 12 miles on I-95! I then asked for Charlie and spoke with him. I explained that the bike was my only mode of transportation and that I couldn't ride down. I asked that he send a contact team to apply the two bolts they failed to apply before I left the shop, he initially told me he wouldn't do it. I raised hell and then he told me that he would send someone the following day, "probably in the morning..." Charlie's a personable guy, his mechanic wiped my bike down prior to me picking it up, but this is a no-brainer. A situation like this... send a mechanic on the 20 minute drive to apply the bolts. Do that, and you won't have to deal with disappointed FORMER customers. I won't go back, and I recommend you don't either. If they're making a stink over 2 bolts, imagine what it'll be like with a large purchase. read more

I went in to look at a few scooters talked to Simon the owner, not much of a selection was told come back in 2 weeks he will have alot more....returned 2 weeks later and he had the SAME inventory I asked him how much the blue 150cc scooter was and he told me $1400, when I told him that 2 weeks prior he told me it was $1100 he said "you should of bought it then"!! These guys seemed sketchy when I first met them and they confirmed that on my second visit!! STAY AWAY!!! read more

Wish I could give them 5 stars. Very nice owner and service guy, so I'll give them an extra star. They just shouldn't have told me that they could work on my 08' Can Am Spyder which was dead when I had it towed to them. They should stick to oil changes and basic maintenance on bikes. They did a good job of the oil change and battery change. But my bikes had code errors when it started and they said they aren't equipped with diagnosing the issue. I thought it was nothing serious, but boy was I wrong. After spending about $500, I rode to dangerous i95 and I learned that the DPS error was in fact a failed Dynamic Power Steering. I couldn't turn the steering wheel without extreme force.. I barely got it to broward Motorsports of Palm Beach, who were booked for a month, so I had it towed home. Then had it towed and fixed for about $1,750 by a certified dealer. The DPS part alone cost me $1,300. I'm fine with paying. I'm not fine with the rest of the process. My life could have been lost on i95. read more

Both these guys at Seaside Motorsports are straight crooks. I bought a bike there in 2018 for $5400 and found later the gears we're stripped. I took it back 3 or four times for repair and they continued to tell me it was all my imagination. This how I realized why they don't let you test drive the bikes. Every time I took the bike back for repair I seriously doubt they even touched the bike. It just sat there for a week and they gave it back to me. Then on top of that the bike I bought for $5400, Broward Motorsports told me it was worth $1200 at the most. Please people, do your research before you spend a dime with this place. If they tell me a 1700cc is normal if it goes 80 mph, those are crooks. read more

They charged me nearly $60 to put a tire on my rim. That seems like an awful lot. The rim was off the bike too. Usually you'll be charged around $40 for the mount and balance. Just seems to cost too much. Other than that, they took about 2 hours to do it and did a good job. read more

If you're looking for a place you can trust to fix, maintain, or even modify your bike, Seaside Powersports is the right place. Normally, I would never take the time to write out a review, but I recently got word that Seaside's reputation is being challenged, with criticisms linked to suspected competitors. It's one thing to have healthy competition, but quite another to clandestinely smear another's name in the hopes of increasing their bottom line. As for me (a loyal customer for over 3yrs), and at least one other family who recommended them to me, I have found Seaside Powersports to be all the things important to an automotive shop: personable, extremely competent, and most of all reliably honest and fair priced. I went here in good faith to buy a bike, met with a guy named "Charlie", he gave the usual "salesman (used), sales pitch. As I found out I went to their bank, at their recommendation, and then got approved in one day. After the approval the bank said the bike was worth only one amount and Seaside had it priced $600 more than the value that the bank said it was worth. As I tried to buy the bike in good faith, I tried to negotiate the price Half way between the price the bank stated it was worth and the Seaside offered price. Meaning I was ready to buy at more than the banks value. Seaside called me with a "counter" and then I called them four times and they never returned any of my calls. I would now ask, what's wrong with this picture.... Do they only do business with dumbasses? Do they only want unsophisticated buyers that will not question their offered price? I will not do business with this place ever again and will tell as many as will listen that this place is a rip-off and that this place has no integrity and professionalism, should a buyer go and try to do his or her "proper" due diligence. By the way, I went to NADA, as the Bank did and used their value as all "Dealers" use this system for the value of a vehicle throughout the nation. Hat a bunch of "Losers". Don't bring your bike here for any service needs. They held my trike for a month, installing a part that I was told would solve it's starting problem. Not only did it NOT solve any problems, Seaside Powersports charged me for this unnecessary part. Finally, I was given my trike back in the same condition it was originally in (not starting). So, not only did I have to pay a hefty bill for basically nothing, I also had to pay for a tow truck, once again, to bring my trike to another repair shop. .Do yourself a huge favor and avoid Seaside Powersports of Lantana FL at all costs! read more

I Bought my special needs brother a scooter at Seaside Powersports for $1685.00 cash. On April 5th this year 2014. They wouldn't take a 1 yr old scooter in trade. I explained that I needed a dependable scooter for him to drive to work at Publix. He cannot drive a car but does ok with a scooter. 5 weeks later the throttle cable broke on a Tuesday. I had to borrow a trailer and get someone to help me load it up and take it in, I own a small retail business myself and had to bring in someone in on their day off so I could accomplish this. I was told they had to order a new cable. Friday I called to check on it. No cable, Saturday no cable. Monday I get a call that they had a cable all along and it was ready. All this time I had to arrange rides for my brother so he wouldn't lose his job. We picked the scooter up after he got off work and was charged $86 for the repair. It was 5 days past the 30 day warranty, and I hadn't purchased the "extended" warranty.. As a (courtesy) they didn't charge for the part only the labor. 5 weeks later almost to the day the cable broke again on his way to work at 6:30am. I got him to work and called for help to load the scooter and take it in again. I had to leave it out front with a note as they were not yet open. I got a call afternoon and was told it would be ready soon and it would cost $108 this time. I called and arranged a ride for my brother to be picked up after work and taken to get the scooter. I called back and asked Charlie, (one of the owners,) why it cost more this time than 5 weeks ago. He reminded me that he didn't charge for the part last time, and "Oh , by the way, something came apart on one of the rear shocks and needs replacing $100 plus labor. To say I am unhappy with this place is an understatement. I will be picking the scooter up and taking it directly to another dealer that doesn't sell junk, and knows what customer service is. I will buy another scooter. I've left out a lot of negative stuff I experienced, but I think you get the point. If I ran my business the way they do, I would have been out of business along time ago.
