As soon as I reached out to them, they told me to just bring her in. No booking an appt a week or 2 out or ripping me off for extra crap. For that I'm grateful. When I bright my bike in, David started working on it immediately and my keys were back hanging from my belt loop and kickstand up within an hour or so. Don't waste your time calling around to other local shops or dealerships. Skip the bs and just bring your bike to these guys! ** I moved back into the area and needed a solid local shop to take my Harley for service and repair. Steel Knuckle has great reviews so I gave them a go. I spoke with David by phone and he was able to call me back within an hour with a quote on a rear tire. SK's prices are waaaay more competitive than going to the HD Dealership (but that's just a given, as HD has no problem giving it to you right where the sun don't shine every time). They're also a little cheaper than the other local shops that I called. My tire was ordered the same day that I spoke to David, and 2 days later I was in the shop having it put on. This shop is great. They clearly do a lot of work for the bikers in the Palm Beach area, as There were all kinds of rides inside. Some of the customs and paint jobs in that place are bad ass! All the guys were chill and super cool to chat with while I waited for my bike. I was back on the road within an hour of arriving. I will definitely be bringing my bike to these guys for my servicing and repair needs. Thanks to all of you for taking care of my girl.

I saw the horrible reviews on Yelp for this mechanic, but I thought I'd give him a try anyway. What…read morea waste. I paid Cody $130.00 to come to my house and let me know what was wrong with my bike. He came with a helper and they showed me what needed to be fixed and what the cost would be. I agreed and they were to come back in a few days when they had the parts. I never heard from anyone again. I finally found another mechanic to take care of the bike. I'm sorry to say this, but don't bother with this one. They aren't reputable and they don't care about their customers.

I texted that number on Saturday and received no response. A few days later, Cody called and explained that the mechanic had been sick since Saturday. He said he would try to fit me into his own schedule, and we discussed a time that would likely work for both of us. However, before ending the call, Cody asked me to modify or delete my review. I told him that once someone actually came out and looked at the bike, I would have no problem updating the review to reflect that. At that point, he accused me of "blackmailing" the company with my review. To be clear, I never brought up the review during the call--he did. I simply said I would update it once the issue was addressed. Being accused of blackmail for wanting the problem resolved before changing my review was incredibly unprofessional and disappointing. My original concern was the lack of communication after the repair. Unfortunately, this interaction only made the situation worse. I can overlook mistakes and scheduling issues, but I cannot overlook poor communication and being treated disrespectfully as a customer UPDATE: After I left my original review, I was contacted almost immediately. I am aware he suffered a head injury in a car accident and I have a lot of sympathy for him. That said, my last interaction with him was altogether negative. he removed pieces from my husbands bike that covered the axels. When the bike was picked up, it did not have the covers on but husband didn't realize until he got home. I assumed it was an oversight and reached out to see if we could swing by to grab them. He was rude and started screaming at me that he didn't have them. We just got the bike and I have many photos of it with the parts on. We have had no other work done and in order to replace the rear tire (the reason I brought it to Sean) those rear axel covers needed to be removed. He even stated it took "forever" and charged us more because it took "hours" to complete the job. My husband had contacted him first and he asked for photos. We sent them and he told us "those were never on the bike. I would remember because they take forever to get off." The picture was them on that specific bike taken a few days prior. The parts were there. He removed the tire and must have misplaced them. Instead of apologizing and taking a quick look around as I would have expected, he became mean and defensive. I am bummed that someone that was once my mechanic of choice because of his excellence is now someone I will never bring a bike to. I hope he heals and becomes more himself in the future. Beware his unpredictable temperament and work quality. I hate to say it, but I don't want anyone with a brain injury working on my bikes. Despite his best intentions, things happen and I cannot trust my life in the hands of a mechanic that removes parts and cannot remember to put them back.

Unprofessional and probably needs his head scanned. Completly all over the place. Then why the extra charges you said were for time due to removing parts? Definitively won't be back. Especially after witnessing him yelling at a woman who had a question.
