He left a mess everywhere. We were cleaning up small pieces of copper and trash for days. Even after I pointed out the mess he was making, his response was "oh my trash box has a hole in it." Did he bother to clean it up? Nope. The job was simple - replace regular switches with smart switches. To say the job was over his head is an understatement. At one point I had to step in after he wasted hours of time (which I got billed for) and redirect him before he went crazy. And instead of calling for help and having a more experienced tech help, he just painfully attempted to deal with it. Once he lost it, the job went down hill from there. He replaced switches I didn't want replaced and the hole project turned into a pathetic mess. For example he put a switch in a spot that never had a switch to start with... I had to hire another electrician to come in and fix the issues they created.

They cut out and removed my old lawn, raked and leveled the yard, put down new topsoil, fertilized and then proceeded to lay 17 pallets of St Augustine sod. Then to complete the job, they rolled the entire job and removed all the little debris from the property. It made me tired just watching them. I had them out to fix my 2 valve American Standard Toilet. my toilet was flushing normally until…read morethe part broke. They replaced the broken part but the toilet was not flushing as well as it had before. They came out but said that the toilet was old and was not delivering enof water to the bowl because the discharge holes had calcified and the toilet needed to be replaced. My usual plumber had recovered from an injury and he came out and said the tank was fully emptying into the bowl, but the water was not circulating fast enof to fully flush solids, that there was an obstruction in the drain. He used a tool to clear the blockage in the drain, and the toilet is now back to a normal flush. Since i have a bidet and do not use toilet paper the plumber said the blockage was due to a small object having been flushed down the toilet. I am the only one that uses this toilet i suspect that the DMP plumber was the one who dropped the small item into my toilet, assuming that it was not intentional, i would have expected any plumber to have followed the steps of my usual plumber to diagnose the issue before recommending that i replace the toilet.

Last week, our water heater burst in our attached, exterior storage closet, full of our personal…read morebelongings in totes (thank goodness), while I was working from home. Since I live in a condominium, my neighbor downstairs came upstairs and advised she had a leak coming through her ceiling. Immediately, I searched and searched and realized that the pressure tank on top of the water heater finally gave way, releasing over 40 -50 gallons of pressurized water everywhere. I was able to get a hold of a friend who had used Buddy Mintz plumbing before and swore by him, his crew and results. Once I shut down the water supply line and killed the breaker to the water heater, I made the call. Within an hour, Buddy Mintz came out, assessed the situation and replaced the pressurized tank within no time and with no issues. He did advise that the water heater, itself, was at the end of it's life and he strongly recommended a new one. I agreed and the very next day, a new water heater was installed with no issues, hiccups and up to standards. Buddy, himself, has a great attitude on life, is extremely professional, kind and courteous. This service had a personal touch to it and felt like he and his crew members, who assisted, were perfect for this job. They do not offer any type of water extraction methods but they will take care of your plumbing needs quick and with great results. Thank you again for an (almost) painless experience but if it weren't for y'all, I may have waited days and days with a competing business.
