I did a budoir photoshoot with her and the entire experience was amazing. You start with a full makeover and hairdo by a professional MUA to make you look and feel beautiful. During the photoshoot Suzanne was my personal hype woman, making me feel so confident and sexy. Suzanne is an experienced professional and is naturally gifted in sharing confidence. The entire experience was amazing and I will have great memories of it. When I came back to pick up my album I was blown away at the results. The quality of these albums is next level. False advertisement #1....there we no elves & the photographer wasn't even aware that this was advertised. False advertisement #2....there was no north pole experience. Just a backdrop and a chair for our son to sit in - which ended up being cut out in most of the pictures. If it wasn't for another winter setup that was there (which was nice & did include props), we would've asked for a full refund. The photo shoot also included cards. Tricia did offer us extra cards since the were no elves as advertised. However, we ended up not using the designs that were provided to us. They were unprofessional and looked as though they were done using Microsoft Word. I kindly declined to use Tricia's designs & said we would be ordering our own cards (which caused us to spend extra money). Because of this, I very nicely requested a small refund from Tricia - without bringing up any of our negative thoughts about the actual photo shoot & false advertisements. She agreed to send us a small refund but 3 months later we still haven't received it. She has now chosen to ignore us which lead me to write a negative review about her photo shoot.

My husband and I knew that we wanted beautiful and artistic photos to capture those precious newborn moments for our baby boy. I had done extensive research on newborn photographers in the NYC area, and Chavi's style of photography was exactly what we were looking for. Her website was very easy to navigate, she is very transparent with her pricing, and the photos in her gallery accurately reflects her artistic talent and what to expect as your end product. From the moment we contacted her, Chavi was extremely professional, always quick to respond, and she definitely gave us a strong sense of security with her accessibility and ability to be accommodating for you, especially since you can't predict exactly when your baby will arrive (if attempting a natural delivery). Prior to securing our booking with Chavi, we had reached out to a different photographer with whom we had a vastly opposite and negative experience, so Chavi was truly a gem! As exhausted new parents, to our surprise, the day of our photo shoot was one of the most relaxing and blissful hours we have had since the arrival of our baby! Chavi had such a magic touch and kept our baby calm almost the whole time. She has a very soothing and relaxing vibe in general, and instructed us to spend the next few hours however we wanted while she focused on the baby, which was truly a treat!
