    I highly recommend Precision Appliance!…read more I called to schedule an appointment and they provided me one within 2 days from my initial call (they also have online scheduling available on their website). They provided me with a 4-hour window of when they would arrive, and called ahead of arrival. I have a 12 year old front load washer that had error codes which I provided to them on the initial appointment set-up call. The drum was spinning and the machine was draining, but not truly washing the clothes and spinning all of the water out of them. William arrived within the scheduled window of time, immediately began testing the washer, and within a few minutes he had diagnosed the problem with my machine, the motor needed replacing. I could actually hear the motor and it sounded very poorly when it was running. Also, the interface needed replacing as well. William provided me with the cost of the motor replacement, and alone it would be over $500.00. He advised me that it was not worth repairing and I would be better off purchasing a new washing machine. William explained many different options to me, and was very helpful. He even provided me with detailed advice regarding new washing machines to purchase and where! He also looked at an old dryer I had not used in over a year and diagnosed what I thought was the heating element gone bad. Quoted me a price on repairing it as well. For the cost of a service call I was provided with kind, knowledgeable, and courteous assistance! Definitely HIGHLY RECOMMEND PRECISION APPLIANCE!!

I've called him twice now for repairs, and with the first, he advised that the needed repair was likely still covered under warranty and that I should call the manufacturer, which I did. With the second, he gave his honest assessment that given the age of the appliance and potential cost, this would likely not be worth it to fix and that I would be better off replacing the unit. He could have charged me so much to fix these, but saved me that thanks to his integrity and experience.

    I do not recommend this business they replaced my ice maker unit in October the ice started melting…read morein March I contacted them they sent a service person out he first said ice maker then after I said your company just replaced that he found a crack in the ice bucket ok get this they were going to charge me outrageous amount to slide the ice bucket in. It took 3 days to get me scheduled. They didn't show up when scheduled (Wednesday between 8 am - 12.). When I called, the woman who scheduled me couldn't find me on their schedule and couldn't explain why. Tech finally showed up after 4:30 pm (a whole day wasted waiting on them) but couldn't fix my fridge. He called the office twice and took pictures, saying he thought the problem may be non serviceable. Next day the parts manager called saying they had to order parts so they couldn't come back till the next Thursday (3-5 pm). 8 more days with no fridge but I was ASSURED it was fixable and they could get the parts. Still had not called or shown up by 4:30 pm on Thursday so I called them. They were closed. I finally got a call around 4:45 pm from the owner who spent at least 30 minutes making excuses and apologizing for their lack of communication. He finally got around to admitting they messed up. Turns out if the parts manager or the owner had listened to the tech and looked at the pictures, they would have known the fridge was non-serviceable, claim could have been filed the week before when they first came out and I could have gotten a new fridge in a couple of days. Because of their lack of communication and concern, we were without a refrigerator for 14 days. If I could give a rating of negative 10, I would. To say we were unhappy and dissatisfied with this company is an understatement!
