I'll admit that I'm more comfortable going to a brick and mortar store than shopping online. I did go online to see the process but didn't want to order online , I wanted to view it in real life lol Alyei was so helpful and professional, she is a great representative of Yankee Candle. She showed me step by step how the process works. I felt very comfortable giving her my cell phone as she showed me how to use the app. Did I mention that she was very nice and patient with me It's nice to see happy helpful people representing the company they work for. When I walked in the store I was greeted by a woman named Leslie, she greeted me with a smile and went about helping a customer who called in that they had left a candle wick cutter in the store by accident. Leslie assured the customer that she had it and as she spoke to the customer she put a tag on their wick cutter and told them that they could pick it up at their convenience. The staff are friendly, kind, attentive, helpful, and knowledgeable, and the flowers offered are incredible, thoughtfully sourced, and difficult to find elsewhere. You can order professional arrangements or make your own bouquet out of the flowers sold by the stem. I've been doing the latter, and it's a regular source of joy and creativity for me, and it's absolutely helped with the winter doldrums that often come with being a New Englander. If you need a hostess gift for a party or holiday, there are plenty of options at Cymbidium, ranging from artful seasonal bulb terrariums to tea, macarons, and homemade candles. They also always have lots of user-friendly houseplants to choose from. I've had really good luck with the plants I've bought, including some gorgeous orchids. It may sound corny, but I like knowing that I'm supporting a small business owned and operated by wonderful people, as small brick & mortars that help give a town character are becoming fewer and farther between. I'd rather spend a little bit more for something truly unique and lovely than grab a quick, nondescript bunch of flowers at a grocery store chain. Cymbidium is truly the best, and I highly recommend it!
