I've now been to two concerts here and simply love it.
The center is in an old cottage just in the middle of Naul and visibly done up with lots of love. Naul itself is very convenient to reach from Dublin by car. Just up the M1 and off junction 6.
There are two rooms where they have concerts on. The first gig I went to was with Una Palliser and was in the small room. And it really is small. With a fireplace and space for maybe 20 people sitting pretty close to the artist. It just felt like a private concert in someones sitting room with is a great experience for artist and audience.
The second concert with Mick Hanly was in the Theatre room which offers space for around 90 people. Again intimate enough to build a great relationship between artist and audience.
You are allowed having drinks during the concert and if there is a break you can go across the crossroad to the pub and get another drink - which to me adds even more to the whole experience (maybe I'm just too used to Dublin?).
They also have workshops (especially for kids), talks and cinema on.
The staff is very friendly - you feel their love for the place.
Also part of the centre is the Cottage Cafe (same website). It is open daily from 10am - 5pm and when there is an evening event on they're open until 10pm.
So especially if you're driving up from Dublin it's great to come early, have a lovely dinner (or lunch depending on your event) and maybe a glass of wine or just a sandwich, salad, cake or scone to relax in their cosy restaurant.
Again the staff is very friendly and flexible to adapt you your needs. read more
