He showed up 5 weeks late to start and the first day of excavation he ripped the water line out of the house and broke our patio. He claimed to be a certified ICF installer, but the foundation ended up crooked, out of square by 3.5", bowed, bulged and out of plumb. He flooded our house multiple times, also. We ended up firing him before he could do more damage. He has stolen $35000 from us and everything he did has to be torn out and redone. There are many better contractors in the area. Do not hire.

However, I asked him to hang a shelf that required some drilling of tile. He agreed to do the job. He stated he went through 4 bits and didn't get one hhole done. He said he would have to find the right bit and would be back. Well that was 2 months ago. I contact him and don't get a response for a week or more. He kept saying he would be back because he doesn't do that to people. Well needless to say I never saw him again. I hired another person to come in and he had the job done in 15 minutes.

We are months removed from the original situation and they have not returned a penny of the $250k…read moremy parents have given them. In the beginning, after the post, Anthony agreed to return some of the $ but wanted my parents to agree to allow him to keep around 50k for "administrative fees, restocking fees, etc." What a joke, you want restocking fees for materials you haven't yet ordered and administrative fees for having accomplished nothing to that point. Obviously we said no. Our attorney has been in touch but I'm guessing this will be a long drawn out issue. He has yet to do the right thing once in this process. I don't see him doing it now. I'm sure he's spent the money or is using it for some other project he's currently on. Nothing has changed, Anthony and his business are Complete Scammers! Run the other direction.

Unfortunately for me, during our business dealings, Kayala offers hand written chicken scratches for invoices that are only legible to him. And he doesn't include dates on his numbered , handwritten details. He himself, does not work on any site . He supervised a worker named Don. Don made many mistakes and i had to have Don's boss come and explain to don what is the errors . Overpriced under- skilled tradesman. This has not been a good experience for us and I would avoid ever doing business with Lynn Builders again.
