We've been coming here for years and have never had a negative experience. This place has new owners now and unfortunately things have changed and not for the better I'm afraid. We've always ordered the wings in the past as they are very large and delicious. We noticed wings were on special tonight and prefer them. When they arrived they were not the usually large wings but they were small drummies and flats. We told our waiter afterwards that we were disappointed that they changed the wings from what we were used to. He then tells us they still have the large wings it was just that the wing special was the smaller wings. Information we could have used at the time we ordered. Very sorry to see the old owners gone. I guess we had a good run though. I guess we'll have to try chubby cheeks and see what that's like

I went to complain to Karri and she was shaking and getting so upset saying she personally cleaned it. Was very defensive and rude. I took a lot of pictures. I talked to the manager about it who told me and my family not to come back because we complained about the filthy room. We have asthma in my family and being around mold is dangerous. Then they leave an envelope in the room encouraging to leave the cleaners a tip now. DO NOT GO HERE! Best western might cost more money but at least it's clean.

The door to my deluxe room is too heavy. In fact, I'm writing to you from my deluxe room at this very moment, because I haven't been able to open the door to properly check-out of my deluxe room at the suggested checkout time of 11am. I prefer to stay in deluxe rooms, because I'm a blues boy at heart and need the extra space to listen to my blues CDs while I'm traveling for business. Unfortunately, I've come down with the blues fever because I still can't open the very heavy door to my larger, more expensive deluxe room and I fear that my stay will be extended. Sadly, this isn't the first time my stay has been extended. I was once attending a blues concert at The Alley in Sanford, FL and witnessed a blues tragedy, which greatly affected my evening. The young gun guitar-slinger on stage was ferociously berated by the venue owner following some type of dispute after the show. I had been in the merchandise line to buy a new blues CD and was delayed by 10 minutes or so. I travel often for business and recreation.

So, while they may be fairly new, they've sort of got some really old fashioned things going on. They're still doing the whole credit card incidental hold thing and are making it really difficult to connect your devices. You don't see incidental holds so much anymore but they're still doing it here and it's laughable given there's no bar or restaurant or bistro or coffee shop or beer or wine or alcohol to buy. It's just an interest free loan for them. They also really don't want you connecting anything to your TV either. It's affixed to the wall so you can't tilt it to see it while you're at the desk nor can you easily reach any of the HDMI inputs. Of six devices, only two connected to the wifi login; usually they all do. So to make the Xbox work, had to force the login with the IP address on another device, then use that device's MAC address on the Xbox. Easy for me but most people would have given up and that's the idea; I think. No breakfast sandwiches on the weekends for whatever reason even though you'll pay more for your stay those days.

The room was clean, comfortable and updated with a view out the back. We stayed in the connected rooms so it was like a motel but they also had separate cottages behind that to stay in. The family that runs it must live near one end where you can see piles of stuff all over. I admit that looked really bad so i was afraid of what the room would be like and my wife and I enjoyed our stay there. We would book another room there, no problem. It was also affordable. It's very convenient to be able to have a hotel that accepts dogs and last year I reserved a pet room with no view. It had two queen beds. This year I reserved a pet room with a view but when we checked in we found it had two full size beds instead of queen. Not great for two adults! There was no point in speaking to the front desk as she was clearly in a bad mood when we arrived. Be sure to reserve the one with no view if you are adults with a dog. That room was also newer than the one with the view. The woman who checked us in was the only employee we saw all three days. She was pretty gruff in the bar and told my sister (who was staying in a room upstairs) they don't put out dry cereal during the week days. Seriously?? The breakfast is already pretty bare bones so that seemed especially chintzy. There aren't a lot of options in Solon so at least know what you're in for if you stay here.
