I go in and I had some other clothes to sell. The tie is 8.99 and the total amount they were going to give me for in store credit was 9.60! I told them all I wanted to do was exchange the tie for a different color of tie since my son had received the tie as a gift and it was brand new. Basically they were only going to give me 1.00 for the tie and then resell it for 8.99. All I wanted was a different color but I guess profit is more important than customer relationships. I usually like this place but I am not happy with how I was treated. Also some of the girl's clothes are not very cute. Thank goodness I have a couple of friends who have given me clothes that are cute because the quality has not been the greatest. I can't wait to start working again so I don't have to go here anymore.

It was very carefully packed in the original packaging and stored until this Christmas season. When I opened it, the liquid had leaked all over it. When I contacted Deseret Book about returning or replacing it, I was told that because I had used it and it had been a year (Christmas only comes once a year) that they would not do anything to remedy the situation. I would never have paid $50 for a decoration with a two week life span. They should put up a disclosure for like items that they are only good for one season. Be very careful when shopping with DB. Very poor value and disgraceful customer service.

Books-a-million in St George is beautiful! I've never been to a more nicely organized and well…read morestocked book store. We usually come thru St George 3-4 times a year and it's nice to see something fun and new. We specifically went for the Manga section, which is vast compared to other book shops. They have everything! If you are a manga fan you should absolutely check it out. Beyond the Manga section we were pleased to find lots of other fun things! The kids section is fun and very well stocked. They have lots of books with special bindings and fun box sets. This would be a great place to find a present for a book lover for sure. They also have a massive selection of Loungefly bags. I love those and spent a while just looking in wonder at all of those. We will absolutely be back!

There is issues with the general manager but everyone else have been great. It's a beautiful store and I can tell staff put in a lot of effort into keeping the store front neat, clean and easy to find things. BAM as a store overall in my opinion is honestly VASTLY better than Barns and noble. The membership card is without a doubt better, costs way less and gets you more. The selection is also great, primarily manga is the largest selection I've seen in a normal bookstore. Excited to continue to shop with the company from here on out now that I've been introduced.

Their clothing generally is all color changing when it's in sunlight. T-shirts are white, gray, or other color with black printed images. When the shirt is taken into the sunlight, some areas change to vivid colors. I bought a shirt that changes like this when I was at the Point Fermin Lighthouse in San Pedro, California. Here's a store with a whole selection of that color changing wear. I got a shirt with a nice gecko lizard on it that changes beautifully in the sunshine and gets very nice colors. I also got my tote bag which changes colors. I'll use that to save some plastic bags from leaving grocery stores with me.

One thing I was very impressed with, was told that their bed sheets have a lifetime guarantee on them! Basically they will replace them if they get any holes in them.

There are a ton of hidden back issue gems and everything is kept up very nicely. The proprietor generally also knows where everything is and if he doesn't have it, will go to great lengths to obtain it, though given that a lot of the population at any given time is on a trip of some kind, that part works out a bit less well. Mark my words though, even though it is good now, in 2 - 3 years, my bet is that it will be spectacular.
