Caution- 200+ dollars for estimate!…read more My contractor recommended JB to do some updates to my backyard system. The day they came over I was under the impression they were going to complete the service after giving me an estimate but unfortunately they had not scheduled enough time. Instead they charged me $200 to give me an estimate noting it to be a "service call". See highlighted invoice with "consultation fee" over 200 dollars! No service was provided and the technician spent just 25 minutes evaluating my set up. I felt taken advantage of on my first meet as estimates should be "free". It took them a month to come back and do the update and I was texted a date for that service with out consideration of my availability that date. I felt a little stuck though because they already had $200 of mine. I really wish they inspected the rest of my system to ensure it was working properly like other companies offered. Don't take my review lightly. I'm trying to help consumers avoid the mistake I made.
