Watch the chicken get charcoaled, order the charcoaled chicken (quickly unless you want a scowl,) watch the chicken disappear into your belly. It's just that simple. The chicken here is good...damn good, and so is the chilli sauce. I advise you don't get the large chips; they're not bad, they're on the thin side but if you get a large order of chips bear in mind that the bag is probably as big as your head and you will not have any space for chicken...which is the main reason for coming here. A small order of chips will do fine.

I am the furthest from a vegetarian that you could get (I had ribs for lunch today,) so I was pretty skeptical about how a veggie burger would taste...my skepticism was unfounded because I have to admit it was a pretty good burger. I ordered an original Big Burger meal with no mustard and soy bacon. I thought blasphemy, bacon cannot be soy...but I was the blasphemous one for doubting the Lord (of the Fries.) For the fries I had the original fries (chunky + sweet potato available,) ordered Belgian mayo and Vietnamese mayo (spicy chili) on the side. The Belgian mayo was alright, but the Vietnamese mayo was bomb.com. The fries are double cooked and definitely some of the better fries I've had in Sydney...my favourite fries have been from Ogalo's, but Lord of the Fries gives it a run for its money...I will need to do some more taste testing with their other sauces. If you've been to America, I'd say that Lord of the Fries reminds me of a vegetarian Five Guys since the fries are very similar in taste and quality (minus Cajun fries) and they both offer burgers and hot dogs. The nostalgia may have influenced my review a bit...so take that into consideration. If you don't want to wait in a queue for a super long time, go in the arvo or after their official launch on Aug. 29th. Praise the Lord (of the Fries!!!) ***Update: I went again to try their hot dogs and ordered the Chicago dog. If you're a fan of hot dogs and a carnivore I would skip the hot dog and get the burger, it tastes bland and it's a bit "off," most likely missing the meat taste. If you're a vegetarian and really want a hot dog then order to your hearts content.

I got a lot of different things as the large display of all the food made everything very tempting to get. I was surprised to see items like pad see ew and fried rice. The fried rice looked generic and nothing special; but the pad see ew looked too good to resist. The chicken wings were crispy and nicely seasoned. The pad see ew was as good as it looked; super flavourful and delicious. The creamy chicken and mushroom pasta is super creamy and delicious, one of my favourites. And wow their chips are like McDonald's quality - thin and salty. Overall I highly recommend stopping by but don't bother if it's packed with people as it usually is.

Seriously this is like the 3rd fried chicken shop to open in Sydney the past month…read more From the minds of the guys behind Mr. Crackles which did everything pork, comes Thirsty Bird, their take on most everything chicken. This place is pretty much a takeaway only shop with only 5 stools to sit on. The specialty here is the Southern style fried chicken, which originated from the South in the US and means it's marinaded in buttermilk. Delicious. 3 pieces for $12 with a sauce or 8 for $25 and two sauces which is a pretty good deal. You can also opt for a meal which is 2 pieces and a side and a sauce for $13. Sides vary from waffle fries, bacon mac & cheese, and mash and gravy. The Thirsty Burgers though, may be where it's at, with a choice of Southern, Club, Katsu, or Yankee. I went for the Southern and this burger is freaking huge...it's not really a burger since it's on a long sandwich roll from Barby's but it's a two hander for sure. For bang for buck it's tough to beat this one for $12, but I will say while I do enjoy this one, I think I might enjoy Juicy Lucy and Butter's versions just a little more. The Southern tasted kind of like a gourmet version of Burger King's Chicken Sandwich...which is delicious but not available in Australia so I guess I can't give a proper example. The biggest knock here is how long it takes to get your food when they're busy. It took about 15 minutes, and this place is supposed to be fast food. Either way definitely worth a visit if you're in the area

The chicken nuggets (with blue cheese sauce) are always succulent and more than enough for one person. I've tried a couple of the burgers which are a good size and very tasty. The Southern Burger never disappoints. The seasoning on the chicken is not as good as the Colonel's but I can understand why this place is always busy. There are a few stools to eat at the bar but this is essentially a takeaway joint.

Enjoyed eating their delicious gourmet burger while enjoying the views of Bondi beach…read more We decided to try this place out because my boyfriend wanted to try Kangaroo meat while visiting Australia. Kangaroo was on their menu and that's what caught our eye on this place. PARKING: There's parking at Bondi beach, so if you park there, you can cross the street to this place. Otherwise there may be some street parking. I did not observe any designated lot for his restaurant. SERVICE: The lady at the counter was nice. Not sure if my American accent made it difficult for her to comprehend some of the questions I asked her, but she was still nice and courteous towards us. Basically everything I asked her, her reply was, "yes it is good." PRICE: So their burgers were a little pricey... about $15 - $20 for a burger, however, the quality was great and their buns are Gluten Free!! Totally worth the price. The burgers did not come with sides so you do pay extra for fries. FOOD: My boyfriend ate the Kangaroo burger which he enjoyed. He had no complaints at all. I had their Black and White Burger which was their beef burger. It was a bit messy to eat so towards the end I had to use a knife and fork to finish it. The egg and tomato relish just got deliciously messy. ATMOSPHERE: It's a nice casual spot to enjoy a burger. Walk in, order at the counter and they bring the food to you. There's a nice view of Bondi beach and you can choose to eat either inside or outside their restaurant. Perfect setting in that area. I'm definitely we ran into this place while cruising Bondi Beach. Definitely a great spot to have a burger!!!
