After calling 7 or 8 places, none of which would be open at 8:30 (after our round at Royal…read moreDornoch), Morangie House could accommodate our group of 7. We were so pleased that they were the place we landed on. They were so friendly, the food was amazing, and they didn't rush us out, even though the kitchen was closing shortly after we arrived. We were staying nearby and sad that we weren't staying there. Our group had the crab cake, king prawns, and smoked salmon starters. For entrees we had the steak, bolognese, venison, burger and steak pie. Then several had the brownie and sticky toffee pudding. I have to say that we'd been having sticky toffee pudding everywhere we've been and this was, by far, the best we've had. I didn't get pictures of the desserts because they were eaten so quickly. Don't hesitate to go here.
