This location is newer, so it's clean, well organized and very nice. Bathrooms were clean, prices were decent and staff was nice.

You can literally find just about anything you need here, from snacks and souvenirs to fresh food and desserts. The moment you walk in, the smell of fresh brisket and barbecue hits you right away. The brisket sandwiches are fresh, hot, and packed with flavor. The bakery section is dangerous in the best way possible, filled with so many delicious goodies and sweet treats that it's hard to choose just one. The hot food section had so many tasty options available that I honestly couldn't decide what to get. Everything looked fresh, hot, and delicious. No matter what you're craving, they probably have it. The store itself was super clean, well organized, and surprisingly efficient considering how busy it gets. The staff kept everything moving smoothly, and the atmosphere was fun and energetic. If you've never been to Buc-ee's, you need to stop at least once. And once you do, you'll probably find yourself wanting to stop every time you see one on the road.

The potato chip things were not good. They were stale and soggy. We were able to get a couple of bottles of wine for the hotel room next door. They had the braver mascot in the store so the kids were able to take a photo either him and that was cool.

Well, Baytown Buc-ees was my 4th in a series of stops around the southern United States. My only…read moreregret was not stopping at the one in MS, but I really wanted stop in Biloxi and get to New Orleans. I had also just stopped in Alabama and spent a fair amount of time at that Buc-ee's location. Baytown Buc-ees was a stop I made at about 3:30pm on 6/10/26 and I knew I was going to battle Houston traffic to get to Austin! I was able to purchase some nuts and snacks here and the store was consistent with other stores in the chain-- tons of food, super clean restrooms, mesmerizing merch, and plenty of gas pumps. Along with my love of Buc-ee's, I also have a ton of perks at Starbucks and was pleased to see that there was a store next to Buc-ee's. I was able to get a cold brew and be on my way in 30min. Fastest Buc-ee's/Starbucks stop on my trip! I guess it possible to do a quick stop at Buc-ee's, but before I left I saw a manager and asked her if this was the first Buc-ees and she said in a polite TX voice, "No sir, we are store #34" She also let me know that the first store was in Clute, TX. Knowledgeable staff!! Since I live near the first Chipotle I was curious. I didn't get to visit the 1st Buc-ee's store or the first In and Out Burger on this trip but there will be more. :) I did visit the first KFC and museum in Corbin KY! lol

Drink coolers are always half empty especially on the less expensive drinks. I noticed several energy drinks in the cooler from companies that went out of business 5 or so years ago! When i say rude, i mean they don't even greet you upon entering, They are ALWAYS ON THE PHONE. They don't even hang up when you are ready to check out. Most of them have no personality whatsoever. The only person that has ever been half decent, is Sam. But recently, they have a new girl working there and she has really made a difference in the little tine she has been there!!! She is constantly working! The store is looking way better inside and out, and it smells 90% better than before! And she greets you and makes small conversation with you, unlike the other employees who seem to wish you had never stepped foot inside the store. My only complaint is that the store needs to order more. They're always running out if product and a lot of stuff is expired. Otherwise, just keep on trying to improve and get rid of those employees that are bad for business.
